It is a cozy restaurant with lovely staffs and I had very nice lunch time there. The pizza made from daily fresh doughso it had an elastic crispy and tender crustaromatic toppings.nThey use their original in-house sauce with rich taste. These are completely different from pre-finished meals which are served in other restaurants.nMeatballsBBQ Bacon pizza and Risotto di Pollo are amazed meif you come here you should try them.
Always exciting to find risotto on the menu. Wait time was a bit long but can understand a busy well run local restaurant and a small courteous team. Complimentary pizza nibbles was kindly provided and you can tell the care and love the chef puts into the food. Presentation was stunning, a generous portion compared to so many Italian places out there and very tasty indeed. Very kind of the chef to touch base at the end of our meal too, you can tell how much care he puts into the food and his customers. Service is so polite and the servers are all super well spoken. You can feel the care and love for the food put into each dish and I appreciate that very much. Tried beef lasagne today which was full of flavour and happy it wasn’t a typical lasagne block that was what I was expecting. Ordered some foccacia bread as well-I’m used to a flat crisp square which this was the opposite of so didn’t love it on its own, but it was actually good paired with the lasagne’s extra sauce.nStill partner’s favourite restaurant, and I’ll happily say for someone who naturally doesn’t gravitate towards pasta, GO is a lovely place for Italian food. Yesterday evening we went to Golden Olive restaurant & Pizzeria in Farm Cove. The service was great! The waitress was very kind and friendly. We had a reservation inside, but the weather was begging for al fresco dining, and they happily whipped us up a table outside without any problem. The chef was also friendly greeting customers from the back. The place had a nice atmosphere with lots of beautiful posters and photos of different places in the Mediterranean. First, they gave us complementary nibbles, a tasty treat while we waited for our order. I had the Adriatica pizza which had seafood and my wife had the Vegetariano pizza. They were tasty and we really enjoyed them, although at some point I did not think I was going to be able to finish my large pizza! Then, we had an Affogato and Ambrosia for dessert and they were also really good. Overall, going to Golden Olive restaurant & Pizzeria was an enjoyable experience and we would love to go back. Thanks to the chef and staff for a nice experience and excellent customer service!
Food here is WONDERFUL! We had a very good experience at this restaurant. We arrived late, just as they were closing because we were moving house and hadn't had time to eat anything. The owner, who is also the talented chef, kindly prepared food for us and served us very well. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. Thank you so much!! We hope to visit you soon.
We heard about this place on the grapevine and it did not disappoint - food was delicious, prices reasonable and lovely service, we’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you for the complimentary nibbles. We'll try desserts next time.
