Came here recently for a friends family members birthday and this was possibly one of the most enjoyable dining atmospheres and experiences ever. As soon as I sat down the owner noticed that the table was a little wobbly and ran to fix it like I was the queen of England or something and our waitress was the most sweetest angel ever, she kept refilling our water over and over and was so kind and the customer service was amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful and lovely but also calm? The bathroom is stunning and I couldn’t help but take a few photos cause it was so pleasant , the interior and exterior is just stunning and OH MY GOD THE CHEESECAKE. I love cheesecake and this is possibly some of the best cheesecake I have had so far. Creamy and light and a delicate vanilla flavour, it’s like a million flavours hitting your mouth at once it’s awesome, definitely come here, I want to die here.
Super yummy food here and really nice restaurant atmosphere. We had a big dinner here and ordered a big range of food. We had to wait quite a while to be seated as there was so many people and there’s no bookings which is a bit annoying. Other than that, however, the food is amazing and everything tastes so good. The restaurant has a nice vibe and the fireplace makes it very cozy.nwould definitely recommend coming here!
The Alfredo was superb, sirloin was delicious too, if has scotch fillet in stock that will even better. Lamb Pizza tasted great, beef tartare was fresh. Tiramisu was okay. We couldn't finish the food. Staffs are friendly, atmosphere is relaxing.
After so many years living in Auckland, we finally visit Prego. We arrived right at the peak lunch hour, but luckily scored a table outside, perfect for us with the little ones. We were a party of four adults and two kids, including my parents. We fell instantly in love with the atmosphere and layout of Prego.nnDue to one of my daughter’s dietary requirements, we needed to avoid eggs and dairy. I was a bit nervous, but hopeful. Thankfully, Prego was incredibly allergy-friendly. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, and with just a few minor modifications to a couple of dishes, we were able to order a fantastic selection. We tried the braised beef cheek, linguine alla marinara, agnello lamb leg, costata di manzo scotch fillet, verdure Brussels sprouts, calamari fritti, and bianca pizza truffle mushroom.nnFair to say, everything was delicious! I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner. Everyone had their own favorite, but our overall favorite dish was the pizza, closely followed by the linguine, Brussels sprouts, and lamb basically, everything was good!. The kids' favorites were the linguine and the calamari.nnDespite my initial worries, Prego was very kid-friendly. They have delicious options on the children's menu, as well as activities to keep them occupied while waiting for food. Today, they even had free face painting! Even my mom couldn't resist getting one.nnWe will definitely be back to work our way through the menu!
1st time going to this restaurant.nService was excellent although it was busy as hell.nIt was fully packed so we had to come back in 20mins.nnBut once we got inside.nThe food was served on time.nBoth starters and our main meals were very tasty.nnDont mind the photos as it was really dark and low lighting in there.nnPrice - 8/10nService - 9-10nSeating area - 8 /10 abit crowded.nFood - 10-10
