We had a great experience overall. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive.nnWe ordered the calamari, Alfredo pasta, and truffle pizza. The calamari was just average, and the pizza was decent but nothing particularly special. My favorite dish was definitely the Alfredo pasta—it was creamy, flavorful, and very satisfying.nnWe also tried the date dessert, and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend giving it a try!nnI’ve attached the receipt with my review, and I hope my feedback is helpful for anyone planning to visit this restaurant.
Good service and good location. The oysters were fresh, pizza and pasta were delicious, only issue was the we ordered the scotch steak for medium rare, but it came a nearly well done one. Hopefully it can be improved next time.
Went for dinner. Food was so good. All the dishes and drinks were equally good. Market fish and Alfredo pasta are must try. Food is little pricey though.nStaff is very friendly and gave extra cheese for pasta. Highly recommend
Prego is an absolute delight that will be everyone’s go-to italian spot!! Even as someone with a halal dietary, me and my friends found many options available and the waiter was very accommodating, I came in for a birthday party and I felt very special to be able to celebrate my birthday in a beautiful atmosphere. All the staff had exceptional service and the food was delicious! i personally got the Alfredo with no bacon and it was delicious!! honestly the best fettuccine I have ever had. I went on a busy saturday night and Booked beforehand as it was a large group. such a lovely restaurant, 100% auckland must go!!
After seeing Prego as a highly recommended restaurant from a lot of people, my partner and I came here for our anniversary dinner. And this place did NOT disappoint. Our server was Lila I hope I’ve spelt her name right, and we were amazed by her in depth knowledge of the menu and specials. The food was divine! We ordered the polenta fries, calamari, zuppa di pesce, and the gnocchi. Such beautiful flavours and just enough to be filling but not uncomfortable. The atmosphere was beautiful, all staff were super friendly, and the low lighting gave it a more intimate feel to our night. We will definitely be back.
