nnWe had a fantastic experience at Goode Brothers, New Lynn. Italian food that was absolutely delicious, and you can really taste the quality in the freshly made pasta. Everything we ordered was full of flavour and beautifully prepared.nnA special mention to the flaming meatballs with vodka sauce — they were incredible and definitely a must-try!nnOur server Eva was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome throughout the evening. We’d also like to compliment Head Chef Sharena for such an amazing dining experience — the food was outstanding from start to finish.nnWonderful atmosphere, fantastic service, and exceptional food. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!
I’ve tried tiramisu from quite a few places over the years, and what I usually find is that something is always a little off.nnSometimes it’s too sweet, sometimes the coffee doesn’t come through enough, the mascarpone can feel too heavy, the Marsala is barely noticeable, or the ladyfingers end up either too dry or too soggy.nnThe one at Goode Brothers really stood out because everything felt well balanced. The coffee flavour came through nicely, the mascarpone was light and smooth, the subtle Marsala added depth, and the chocolate brittle was a great finishing touch without taking away from the tiramisu itself.nnIt was genuinely one of the best tiramisus I’ve had in Auckland.nnThe service made the experience even better. The staff were friendly, courteous, and welcoming, and I was served almost immediately. I’ll definitely be back, Must Try.
Had a wonderful dinner at Good George last night with friends and family. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff were still welcoming and attentive. Our waitress was lovely and did a great job arranging seats for our group and looking after us throughout the evening.nWe ordered cocktails for the adults and juices for the kids. I had the burger while my wife chose the pasta — both meals were delicious and the portion sizes were fair. Considering the current inflation and rising costs everywhere, the prices were quite reasonable.nThe restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was great and parking was easy as well. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend this place. We’ll certainly be back again.
After a fun game of mini golf next door, my family and I stopped by Good Brothers in New Lynn for lunch. We don’t eat out often, so this was a special outing for us.nnWe started with drinks and a kids’ meal to share. The drinks came quickly, but no extra plates were provided even though we mentioned the kids would be sharing, so we had to get up and ask for some. About 20 minutes later, our main order still hadn’t been taken, so we asked another staff member possibly the manager to help.nnIt took quite a while for our meals to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. No one checked on our table or asked if the kids’ meal was okay, and I eventually had to go to the front to ask if our meals were still coming. When the food finally arrived, the fries looked reheated and were soft and stale. The pizza wasn’t hot or fully cooked — the dough was gluey with only a few pieces of meat topping.nnThe manager was apologetic and offered to replace our meals, which we appreciated, but we decided to leave. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience this time, but we like the location, it’s a convenient, family-friendly spot with great vibes.nnHopefully next time the service and food are a bit more consistent, as Good Brothers New Lynn has great potential.
Had the absolute best time taking my grandparents out for dinner at Goode Brothers. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was incredible. The staff were so patient, attentive, and genuinely caring, always making sure my grandparents were comfortable and fully catered for throughout the night.nnThe food was just as amazing as the service, everything came out fresh, full of flavour, and was enjoyed by all of us. What really made the experience stand out though was how welcoming and accommodating the team were. They never made us feel rushed and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great evening.nnSeriously one of the best dinner experiences we’ve had in a long time. Amazing food, outstanding customer service, and such a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
