Enjoyed a breakfast here on a Monday morning in an outdoor seating overlooking Oneroa township. Monday is a relatively quiet day on Waiheke without the weekend xrowds. The menu for breakfast and brunch was reasonably comprehensive and well priced. The restaurant was busy and frequented by locals which was a good sign
Had a great meal at Fenice. We tried the Margherita pizza, calamari, buttermilk waffle, and iced coffee, everything was delicious, especially the iced coffee so gooood!.nnThe staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. Will definitely be coming back.
A decent spot for brekkie on Waiheke—Fenice is conveniently located on the main street and is easy to find. Their menu offers safe, classic options, making it a great choice if you’re dining with picky eaters or looking for something familiar.nnFrom the breakfast/brunch menu, we tried a few classics: eggs Benedict, sausages, and muffins. The eggs were slightly overcooked for my liking but still decently runny. I felt the sausages could have used more flavour and seasoning to stand out.nnIt’s a lovely spot with a good vibe near the beach, offering pretty good food. I’d love to return and explore their dinner options.
A little slice of Italy on Waiheke! nnFenice is the perfect spot for anyone craving Italian on Waiheke. The atmosphere is perfect for a cosy lunch. The pizza? Amazing! The base is perfectly crispy and the toppings are quality. We paired our pizza with a lovely Prosecco rosé. The staff are super kind. Highly recommend! Can't wait to come back one day!
We booked for dinner on Good Friday, but there was a glitch and we should not have been able to book online. The manager was extremely accommodating and welcoming and found us a table anyway, and apologised by giving us a free dessert even though it wasn't their fault. The staff were very nice and looked happy to work there. The food was delicious salmon pizza and pear and gorgonzola pizza. A great place producing great food and managed by great people!
