A wonderful clean, well organized unit. We had everything we needed or wanted. Sitting out on the balcony in the evening sun with a glass of wine, taking in the beautiful scenery was wonderful. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend, having stayed here on 2 occasions. We will be back!
Such a lovely find! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners are genuinely kind and personable, messaging us to let us know that our room was ready a little early! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and 100% recommend!
The owners were super welcoming upon arrival and the room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely recommend booking directly through their website - we got a deal with a discounted stay, plus hospitality vouchers that we were able to use at the local bars/cafes. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
The Owners were so welcoming and our unit was a reflection of their attention to the smallest details. Unit was pristine and the gift of chocolates was such a lovely touch. Absolutely worth 5 stars and we are looking forward to our next stay - no need to look any further.
After staying at 4 and 5 star hotels around the South Island. Settlers Inn leaves them all in the shade. From the friendly and super efficient management team to the well appointed unit. We have stayed for 3 nights at Settlers, and we will definitely choose it again for our future Hamner trips. The location is brilliant, we walked to the pool and restaurants and shops every day. The owner and the front office girls are super friendly. It feels like you are talking to an old friend. The room is very clean and got everything you would need for your stay. The towels are fluffy and soft! Oh, the bed is super comfy too! The one in our room got a decent mattress with an extra memory foam mattress topper. Love it all, I will give 10 out of 10! Check out their special deals on their website if you are planning to stay more than one night. I find make a booking from their website directly can save quite a lot.
I highly recommend Settlers Boutique Motel. It's comfortable, well furnished and the owners are very friendly. It's also only a 5 minute walk from town.Rooms: 5/5
We were so well looked after at Settlers, after we broke down on the Lewis Pass and were towed to Hamner Springs, we lucky enough to stay here - the hosts were amazingly kind and the room was superb and great value - so thankful for our stay, until next time.Rooms: 5/5
I was very impressed with this motel in a small town. The host is very friendly and welcoming. The room we chose was small, cozy. They greeted us with 2 chocolate bars placed on the bed. Sweet! The room is simply decorated but has a good aesthetic. They clean the room very well like a five star hotel. They have soft towels, stickling plaster placed in the bathroom, I like this thoughtfulness. Here is good place to stay right in town. Parking in front of the room. I will be back next time.
