The rooms were very clean, beds extremely comfortable. Service was amazing - so friendly. Very convenient with just a short walk to the hot pools, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Only downside was bathrooms could perhaps do with an update but still perfectly usable. Rooms: Very clean. Nearby activities: Easy to get too. Walkability: Close to everything.
Had an upstairs room with a large bed king? and a single. A small balcony with afternoon sun. One night only so perfectly adequate. Towels provided for hot pools. Clean and comfy.Rooms: 4/5
Lovely room - looks like it's newly refurbished, very smart. Plenty of outlets for phones, laptops etc. Comfy HUGE bed! Good sized bathroom & good water pressure. Nice & central - most everything is only a short walk away.Rooms: 5/5
We are a family of 4 travelling from overseas with small children who need their own space. We booked a one bedroom suite 2 months in advance. When we went to check in we were downgraded to a bachelor suit without any prior notification. The female manager was extremely abrasive, unapologetic about the situation and did nothing to resolve it. Worst costumer service I have experienced in my life.
Fantastic location and friendly staff. Walk down to pools and local eateries within a few minutes. Free pool towels offered at reception which were gratefully utilised. Our family apartment was a little dated but very comfortable with everything you need including a lovely sunny balcony. Remember to give Archie the motel cat a daily pat and he will reward you with loud purring. Will stay again when next in Hanmer.
Amazing staff, so helpful! Thank you to the man working that day, you really helped me at a very difficult time. The man helped me with bags on arrival and depature aswell as helped me with my children and making up an extra bed. The beds were not the most comfy but the rooms had everything needed. Smart TV was a plus and everything worked well. Will be back to book again. Location was brilliant so close to everything. Room was large and had a nice balcony. Rooms: Spacious. Beds not so comfortable. They could use with some fabric softener on the linen. Nearby activities: Pools were super close as well as food outlets and other stores. Walkability: Can walk everywhere. Super convenient location.
We stayed here with our family of 4 two younger kids. The Aspen Lodge was the perfect place to stay. The staff and new Manager Chrissy are so friendly and really make the stay comfortable. A great option for families. 1min walk to town and the Pools etc. Great prices. Would recommend 10/10! Nearby activities: Pools, Food, Biking, Walks ! Walkability: So close to town and the Pools
Absolutely an awesome place to stay. The owners are so nice and friendly and went above and beyond. The motel is a great location close the pools and the fairy walk. Also free secure parking which is a bonus. Highly recommended Rooms: Clean tidy and great condition

Stayed for 2 nights, great location, central to everything, 3 minute walk to pools & a range of eating places Older accommodation but clean & roomier than newer places but priced accordingly Owners very helpful, nothing a bother Would stay again
