Very unexpected. A lot nicer and cleaner than originally thought. Photos online dont do it justice, this is a classic example of "dont judge a book by its cover". Very friendly staff from the moment upon arrival. All in all very happy with the Drifters.
Fantastic place to stay.. You can use their kitchen to cook your own food, big lounge to relax in, plenty of outdoor seating for those warm nights. Clean comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and helpful
Things I loved are - my room, the inn managers and hospitality as a whole. The Inn managers are so humble and polite and guided us about the things around the hanmer springs area. Room was fabulously kept and was quite modern. Kitchen had everything.
The owners, are fantastic, really helpful and super friendly. Rooms, we're great with excellent aircon, which was needed in 30c. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of space and great lounge area to eat.
