I ordered the fried chicken salad and really loved it.nThe buffalo sauce had just the right level of spice — flavourful but not overpowering.nnThe smoothie was also fresh and delicious.nA great spot for a satisfying yet light meal.

I was just planning to grab a quick coffee before heading to the Hot Pool, but as soon as I saw the cabinet food, I couldn’t help myself and ended up ordering way more than I expected. And I’m so glad I did! The coffee was smooth and rich, and every single item I tried from the food to the desserts was absolutely delicious and satisfying. It felt like an unexpected little gem that I just happened to stumble upon. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It’s one of those places you don’t plan for, but end up remembering. Thank you for such a lovely experience.nI’ll definitely be back!

Saturdays Cafe is a hidden gem! Tucked away by He Puna Taimoana Hot Pools, it's New Brighton's best kept secret!nnA matcha lovers dream. I had the Iced Strawberry Matcha and Matcha French Toast. Both had very good, strong matcha flavours in them. The French Toast had dollops of matcha cream cheese, chocolate, and caramel sauces, making it a very sweet treat. Yum!nnThe cutest little cafe. Beautiful views of the New Brighton Pier. I absolutely love the decor. Staff were so lovely and provided a warm atmosphere.

Bit noisy and crowded but staff were super friendly and pretty efficient. Very tasty coffee. I had avocado toast on seed bread which was surprisingly a little bland. Toast could have been more crispy but the poached egg was perfection and the glaze added a nice boost. My companion had a premade sandwich that was quite good and an iced coffee.

The bread on the muffin was unfortunately hard. I could barely cut and chew it. Perhaps it was outdated. At least the atmosphere was nice and the service friendly.
