I can highly recommend stopping at this farm. The staff is incredibly friendly and it is a must to try the ice cream. Make sure to have cash on you, if you are fromnOverseas as they do not take credit neither payWave as of yet.
A great place to go! The fruit is superb, and easy to pick. Their real fruit icecream is absolutely delicious, and there are seats to sit while you eat. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of parking, and huge strawberries- what more could you want?
All were excited to pick some strawberries, only to find the girls behind the counter had absolutely no people skills what so ever. They were rude and unhelpful. Manners and a slither of politeness would help your business immensely.nnThere are many other Strawberry farms in New Plymouth with far superior customer service and much more affordable too.
Loved it! So enjoyable to pick our own good quality strawberries with the kids & then have a delicious berry ice cream after.
Strawberries and raspberries good, boysenberries more acid than others. Went in today, prices had been increased 10-20%. Now more expensive than the aupermarket and weights lower than last years packages. Asked why prices had been increased, “we increase prices Christmas week” “that’s a bit rank”, “supply and demand” they said with an air of indifference and a shrug.nnSuggest going elsewhere unless you like giving your money to a greedy, unethical bunch who think it’s ok to price gouge their community during a cost of living crisis, at a time of year we’re all meant to be thinking of each other and sharing. Supply and demand indeed. My demand is going elsewhere. Not really as good as advertised anyway.
