Panmure Station

Panmure railway station is generally safe and secure. I have given it 4 stars because the toilets are not always clean. However, access is controlled with an AT HOP card, so only authorized passengers can enter the station.

Unsafe and void of activity. For an 'interchange' you can go 20 to 40 mins without seeing any bus or train, and most people go 45mins to an hour to wait for a transfer. Because of this the interchange is devoid of people usually. Which is an issue because druggies, hooligans and gang initiates roam the area. I do not recommend anyone use this interchange alone especially in the evenings. Its also unsafe because cars regularly drive into this area and do so at excessive speeds. Some make a mistake because of the confusing road layout while others are trying to take a shortcut. Either way there have been numerous near misses with people and busses alike. Lastly the live digital schedule boards have been in disrepair with at least one being out of order for 18 months at the time of this review.

The asian guy who was working the customer service booth today at around 2:45pm is such an amazing person, my phone died and he helped me try charge it and when it wouldn’t charge and i wasn't able to go home he put $15 into a hop card for me and I just want to say thank you so much, you made my day and helped so much.

No shelter for customers from carpark to station. Spent so much tax payers money zero planning effort.

A large transfer Railway Station that connects trains and buses. Great place to transfer from train to bus as a means to travel to and from East Auckland.
