Useful location to access Parnell shops and the Domain and Museum which is well worth a visit. But the station is in a valley so a climb out required. No amenities, but security staff on site. An undertrack tunnel gets you from one side to the next. The old wood station is on the east side.
This is a complaint about the staff in Parnell train station on 26 Sept,2023 at 11:30.nIf here have negative point I will definitely give it instead of giving even 1star!nI was fall down and got injured few meters in front of the station, I got bleeding on both of my knees and my left elbow but just covered with my long sleeves. When I just get in the station, I saw a lady with AT uniform standing next to the AT top-up counter. I asked her if they have bandage for me. She said “No”. And I said “ok, that’s fine.” Then she said “ Our bandage is only for people get injured here, not for you injured at Home!”nThis is really a bad service. I was injured on my way to the train station to take train. You dont have bandages is not the problem. But if you said I injured at home, while the truth is I injured near your train station, this is very disrespectful and not even considerable. I am very upset and angry about how she expressed and saying I was injured at home. This is a very bad service, don’t even know what happened to their customers and commenting it. I have never meet such bad service. Worst train customer service ever among the world.
The station staff is super nice to guide me the shortcut to museum. Not recommend for family with young kids.
Getting from platform 1 to 2 is absolutely ridiculous! Underground bridge separates the two platforms, at least a 10 minute walk there and back. I have just had to walk there and back just so I can top up my card as the one at platform 1 wasn’t working. In the mean time, missed the train!! Poorly thought out train station.
The parking costs nothing during weekends but the trains sometimes don't run and there is no restroom. Have to go around all the way to the platform on the other side to go to Britomart.
