This vending machine at Grafton Train Station is a scam. I paid $5.50 for a Musashi protein bar, saw it fall down from it's shelf and there was NOTHING in the collection tray!!! Auckland Transport -> PLEASE fix it and take responsibility for the service items you provide at your stations!!
Small station with a vending machine, several HOP card tagging machine, and two top up machines. It's an open station with top cover, hence during rainy or windy days there's only a few areas in the middle of the station that you can take shelter on. Both ends of the station does have better shelter. There is a lift on the Grafton Road side. This train station is pretty much an unmanned one.
Such a handy train station. Really central. 500 metres from Auckland Hospital. Good roof covers if there is any rain.
Nice station, they should put a ticket machine at the top of the steps by the elevator however as when they close the stations on public holidays nobody can top up there. You could go to a dairy to top up but there are none close by.
Perfect for students! Staff on the trains are always friendly, lady said hello despite me having headphones in, really made my day! Keep up the good work AT :
