Otahuhu Train Station

Not the best stop to have a train terminated on as I experienced today. The security guards there weren't helpful either as they mistook my location several times and told me to get on the taxi/bus service to Manukau. I had to wait for half an hour to get the next train which, luckily I wasn't on a time restraint.

Recently upgraded train station which is now accessible for disable propel and has toilets and bus station linked to neighborhood places. Be careful during late night and early morning times. There are CCTV cameras operating all the time so it is safer.

Well-designed new station, always clean, well-let and spacious. Guards are always friendly when I pass through in the mornings and feels safe whenever I come back late at night. Take some time to watch the video in the entrance way which explains some of the design features - really worth watching.

A bit of a hassle walking up the stairs to get to the other platform to catch the train to Sylvia Park. Even when lifts are down no alternative for wheelchairs.

Damn this place is clean, train station all goods, pretty nice.
