One Tree Grill

I was so lucky to have my birthday dinner at One Tree Grill. It would be the best choice ever! I couldn’t count how many times we said “Oh My God! It’s so good!” But we were so impressed by the rich flavor of every dish! It’s amazing!! Thanks to the chef and the great service from every staff! I have recommended it to my dear friends and would definitely come again.

Best Restaurant in NZ! We had our wedding reception twice family & friends separately here at one tree grill because we could not think of any other place we wanted to be. Food was the BEST, service was AMAZING. We loved it and the guests loved it. Thank you to team one tree grill for making our special day more special and memorable! Definitely the best restaurant in NZ and we will be back soon!

I had a very pleasant meal here with my family. The staffs were attentive and the food was fabulous. The lamb was tender and the cheesecake was scrumptious. My only wee bit of feedback is that the table could have been wiped between our courses, simply because it was full of breadcrumbs from the start of the meal…

The menu here is so appealing we had to choose the degustation menu to get a little taste of a lot, and we were not disappointed. The presentation good that I had to take a photo of every course! And the taste of every bite was divine. Matched with a nice wine, great ambiance and impeccable service this was a night to be remembered. Easy online booking and plenty of nearby parking.

Service was really good and the food in general were cooked nicely. The only let down was the dessert, it is usually the final dish that ties the whole dining experience, but the amount of each element was too much which made the dish very confusing in my opinion. Every element of the dessert was delicious, just when combined together, it didn’t have the synergy effect. Sorry : otherwise, still a very nice fine dining restaurant to check out !

One Tree Grill has been a favourite of mine for more than 2 decades and I would consider that this is my top 3 restaurants of all time. One Tree Grill is a fantastic dining spot in Auckland that truly lives up to its reputation. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming and intimate, with dim lighting and soft music that creates a romantic ambience. You just can't find fault with the service from start to finish. It is top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff that are happy to recommend dishes and offer their expertise. The food is simply outstanding, with an impressive menu that includes both classic and innovative dishes. We had Pork Belly, Lamb rump & eye fillets for mains and every bit of food on each dishes are carefully presented to make the entire dining experience delightful. The wine list as well as their underfloor cellar is also impressive, featuring a great selection of New Zealand and international wines. Overall, One Tree Grill is a must-visit restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Auckland.

Highly recommend One tree grill, the food and service was amazing! We did wait about an hour+ for our food BUT they were a full house and it was such an amazing relaxing environment so we didnt mind, and when the food came out, it didn't look rushed and the meat was cooked perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our night and were so thankful they were able to fit us in last minute. Will definitely visit again when visiting Auckland in the future.

Fresh ingredients with sophisticated cooking technique that weaved all the right flavours together. I like how the right food energetic is put together, nothing was too cold or too hot, which sometimes can upset your digestive system despite the great taste. Meats were cooked to perfection, especially the rare steak unfortunately no photo. The deserts were gobbled up so fast before any photography was taken place. The deconstructed cheese cake stood out as the full picture of delicious cake was able to come together when placed in the mouth. We would definitely come back!

Top notch dining experience. I could not fault the food, wine or service. Food was delicious and the quality of service and attention to detail was outstanding. Highly recommended.

An incredible meal and great service. I had searched up “best restaurants in auckland” and this restaurant came highly recommended. Me and my friend who has coeliac disease thought it would be a great place to celebrate her residency visa being approved. The gluten free options were abundant! Thank you team for a great evening
