Probably one of the most distinctive desserts in town. Too bad that you can't get a coffee and take a sit there. The chocolate bomb looked impressive and tasted not bad. It was too big for me... $5.5....

Ordered this magnificent cake to celebrate my niece’s graduation. It was so beautiful that no one wanted to see it cut.Fabulous presentation and the cake was delicious. Thanks so much to all the team at the City Cake Company.

If you wanting a cake for a special occasion when you can’t go past City Cake company. Tracy is AMAZZZZZING and extremely creative. I have used Tracey on multiple occasions for birthdays, anniversaries, etc… Cheers Angie

A big THANK YOU to City Cake Company Mt Eden Village for this most beautiful & delicious Art Deco Chocolate birthday cake. Not too sweet and lovely texture. The decorations were visually perfect. I was also very impressed with the personalized service -which is quite rare these days -like stepping back in time to a nicer era. It was a pleasurable experience tasting the sample choices to find just the right cake for my son's 44th birthday which is the same date as his Grandmother who turned 95 on June 21st.

We bought a vanilla strawberry buttercream? cake. Is it normal for the cream layer in the middle to be almost so thick? The cake is small and it's like a third of it was the really sweet cream...and it isn't fluffy cream. Like i said, it's thick. I mean, it's better if it was strawberry ice cream instead. Idk, because the other reviews are so positive. The actual cake part was average. Not worth $55 ‍ Edit: the cream was nice though. We've saved it to eat it with the something else because the cake part we still ate so as not to waste increased to 3 stars.

When you're in another country and find out no one got your Mum a birthday cake, and the time zones mean you missed the next day delivery cut-off and would have to wait all weekend to cheer her up... but CITY CAKE TO THE RESCUE! Thank you for rush delivering a cake out Friday morning to save the day! And speaking from experience, and our recipients reviews, their chocolate mousse cakes are heavenly rich and luscious. Thank you!

I would not recommend this City Cake Company. The custom made cake I got from here wasn't worth how much I paid for. I saw other good feedbacks here that was why I went there in the first place without doing more research to compare with other cake stores. The amount I paid for the cake over $200 did not reflect on the product. Their customer service needs a lot of improvement, contacted them to provide them a feedback with no intention of wanting them to do anything about it. Just wanted to be heard. All I got from their responded email was negative attitude.

We have been ordering from City Cake for years now. Despite never having met, Tracy is always so accommodating and amazing even during this busy holiday period. I’m sure I changed our order at least three times but her reply was always the same “no problem. All done!”. When we gift these cakes to clients we get nothing but positive feedback about how moist and yummy the cakes are. Give them a go, you won’t regret it.
