We had the bao, prawn linguine, risotto and slow cooked beef cheek. The slow cooked beef cheek was cooked perfectly juicy, soft, and slightly chewy. Also tried the iced chocolate which was incredible! Highly recommended!! The service was great too. Overall, we had a great dinner at Fraser’s.
Such a good place to visit. Having "The Grill" for lunch and it is quite nice tho, I would say the fries might need a bit more seasoning, otherwise everything else was good, bacon cooked to the level I really like. Finishing A Piece of Me "Banoffee", as a cake and bake lover, I am impressed with the cream, smooth and nice, not overly sweet. Love the place and will come back/recommend to friends.
Dined here for dinner, service was friendly. Food was good.Beetroot salad was fresh and tasty.Korean chicken was full of flavours. The baked New York cheesecake was the best part of our dinner.Overall good food and cosy atmosphere.
I’ve been a regular of Frasers for almost 10 years, my usual order is the mousse cake, which has been consistently amazing throughout the years. But today, I went for the first time since the new ownership. I got the carrot cake and mousse cake and they were atrocious. The slices were tiny and way smaller and had gone up in price. The mousse cake was awful, the mousse was gritty, it wasn’t smooth and glossy like it used to be. The carrot cake tasted like baking soda. The cakes were just gross and unacceptable I’ve added pictures of the old mousse cake before new ownership and new one
This is not the Fraser of old since the new owner's taken over. The food was not good at all. We had the Prawn Linguine which was tasteless with 4 small prawns. Also had the Fried chicken Burger is like those you make at home - Chopped lettuce, sliced supermarket cheese and bun and a plain fried chicken. Unimpressed for the price $27 burger!.
Delicious food and restaurant is pet friendly. Ordered entrees: warm beetroot salad, Korean fried chicken, cauliflower Mains: spicy pork noodles, mushroom gnocchi Dessert: NY Baked Cheesecake and Banoffee Cheesecake
Food is alright. But can only give 4 stars coz they are in shortage of waiters. Have to wait a bit to be served and I don’t like the waiting. The owner could hire 1 more person and the problem will be solved. It’s good to see them having dinner now. I ordered veal schnitzel but they only had the chicken version. It’s a bit hard to choose coz the dinner menu is kinda limited. But overall experience is good.
Located in central mt Eden historical building. Not big but environment is good. Menu regular, the bagel is wayyyyyyyy toooooooo hard, just like rocks that you could not bite. This is the hardest bagel on the planet I can ensure that
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE.Ok, buckle in... i've got a lot of explaining to do. Firstly, the eggs Benedict was majorly overcooked, I personally could cook a million times better given the unreasonable price for such poor quality. Secondly french toast, not too good i must say. was undercook, could taste egg YUCKY! the fruit was nice, but cmon! thats he only good thing... do better. NOT good for the money. sorry not sorry. I am severely let down, my tastebuds have disappeared with such horrid food being put in my mouth. Letting Y'all know I aint coming back. To top this all off, the barista lady with brown hair was rude. No eye contact, no thank you, no serving and no giving the menu. Refer to the photos of these mistreated dishes. You will be sorry.
We rocked up a party of 7 after a dinner somewhere else with slow service. We asked for dessert and coffees and were pleasantly surprised with the speed and efficiency of the service after what had been a lack lustre night. Highly recommend.
