I’ve bought from this company in Oz and it seems more professional and setup there. I think the catering company they took over here carried high prices to begin with but I also struggled with their lack of communication as Nisbets here in NZ. It’s a shame but today I went in just to see some simple things and the young lady in front really went out of her way to assist me. Sadly they didn’t even have a zester to sell me..
Today we walked in store with an open cheque book… and ended up walking out again to spend our money elsewhere. To sell equipment you need stock to show customers. Your website has numerous examples but your display in store is terrible. If you want to be able to physically assess what you need, you can’t. Your staff member only acknowledged us when we went to walk out, and audibly sighed every time she had to buzz customers to come in store.
Bought a blender from Nisbets only two months ago, and it’s already leaking. Tried to get it repaired under warranty, but they refused. We used to shop here every week and the only time we needed to claim a warranty they refused. Now I’m canceling my account.nnTalking to other small business owners and reading the reviews, it looks like this kind of thing happens a lot.
Purchased a freezer less than six months ago, seal already come off and Nisbets don't want anything to do with it. Terrible customer service from Australian agents and shoddy products. Don't use them, we are forced to solving this in the Disputes Tribunal despite having purchased off them often in the past. A study in how NOT to deal with customers - note this is an Australian/UK company and not local for any issues after you've paid them your hard earned money.
Purchased soup kettle bundles. Received my Ladles last month. No soup kettles plates or spoons. Ring back numerous times about this and finally get soup kettles. Ring back asking about the rest and the argumentative person on the phones trying to tell me i Received everything last month after me telling her I just got soup kettles today. Her attitude was crap! Sounded like she was accusing me of theft the way she was speaking to me. Not helpful at all
