The produce at Te Rapa New World has been terrible as long as I can remember.nThey need some serious quality control, this is New World not Pack n Save. Have sent complaints through to food stuffs.nThe photos are just the tip of the Ice Berg, I can confidently say that I’m sure other people have experienced worse.
Great find passing through town.nStaff super friendly and most helpful!nAlso scored a fab trim flat white to go!nPlus they had super cheap fuel.
Really didn’t appreciate having my vegetables bags ‘randomly checked’ one by one as I was going through the self checkout today. I come to this New World frequently and have never had this before, honestly was very disappointed and disgusted by the women's attitude. Was it my darker complexion that made her do this random search? Because I didn't see her do it anyone else before or after me. Will be my last time shopping there.
I normally visit New World Te Rapa and receive a friendly greeting and acknowledgement, but this time I was pleasantly surprised by receiving voluntary assistance from Charlotte Clarke at the frozen products who told me how a new Tip Top ice cream surprised her by its rapid replenishing needs as I looked for the usual magnum mini's for my kids. I decided to give this new product a try by purchasing the last two boxes at promo price while she jogged off to find me more stock of my preferred Magnums. I said she can take her time but she assured me that she moves fast and will be back really quickly with my request. She rushed off and was eager to get this sorted for me, going the extra mile with a sincere smile...nI want to let her know that she is amazing at making people feel acknowledged and her empathetic ways makes our world a better place. Your sincerity is acknowledged Charlotte and I hope that Management see your value and give you the praise that you deserve
I am so disappointment bought Fifty dollars worth of mussels today, My Partner has a work lunch tomorrow so thought I'd make a mussel chowder, when I got home to shell them, they smelt so funky, they were thin and glassy looking, worst mussels I've ever bought! Had to throw them out, as the smell got worse.nThe staff and everything were so friendly, but I will never buy seafood there again.
