Great produce, friendly staff and quality deli items. A bit more expensive than other places but it’s more convenient for me so it’s a small price to pay. Smoked chicken breast is delicious along with their range of salads and their Steak Bacon and Blue Cheese and Chicken and Camembert pies are a great winter warmer.
I have been a regular shopper at NW Te Rapa for the last 20+ years - but it just got better. I popped in this evening and was greeted by a smiling security guard who was welcoming every customer. He put a smile on my, and every other, face. And the same friendly goodbye on leaving. He's worth his weight in gold adding an element of appreciation to what's become a mundane, and expensive task.
Clean and well stocked. Friendly checkout service. 5% Gold card discount was a bonus. Also used the petrol voucher to fill the car as price a good match on Gaspy.
The bakery section shut at 6pm, hours before the rest of the store shut. So there was a cabinet full of birthday cakes, but they couldn't sell me one. Very disappointing.nThe rest of the store is great. Big, spacious, modern, clean, with a good range of goods in stock and various amenities.nPlenty of parking outside and nicely located on Te Rapa Road.
