The staff at this store are very friendly and Chatty. Young ladies who don't call us older people Love.... my pet hate The security guard is very welcoming and acknowledges you when you arrive in store and when you leave. Often followed by' have a good evening or drive safe. Highly recommend.
Tidy but busy. Plenty of options given the size of the store. No long check out queue either. The checkout staff were lovely and the veggies etc looked fresh and inviting. I usually go to another supermarket but happily would shop here again
I am a fan of New World and their online shopping service, however, I was disappointed this week. I ordered 4 avocado's with a note to the online shopper, '3 green and one semi ripe, not over-ripe or soft to touch'. What I received were all soft and all over-ripe. All were brown inside and all were inedible. This was not the first time either. New World should not put out produce that is clearly inferior quality. Better quality control needs to be implemented to prevent customers having a frustrating and negative experience. If they're over-ripe, don't sell them.
The bakery section shut at 6pm, hours before the rest of the store shut. So there was a cabinet full of birthday cakes, but they couldn't sell me one. Very disappointing.nThe rest of the store is great. Big, spacious, modern, clean, with a good range of goods in stock and various amenities.nPlenty of parking outside and nicely located on Te Rapa Road.
Worse New World in Hamilton. Staff made mistakes yet covered up, continuing to be rude and ban customer from store two years for being right on the promotion deal. God bless this place! Given this type of management, I will be banning this particular New World for life. Continue to live in denials those managers. Life will be better. Sorry for those who is good and kind in the store. Life must be tough there.
