Everything looking amazing and inviting in this store .From the entrance,layout and display of every product in the store is just a wow factor.Purchased me freshly out of the oven on the day baked High Top white Loafs of bread from the bakery department.Well done Management and especially Bakery & store staff Team for your early morning commitment and late night sacrifices to provide me a wow experience .
Went to do a bit of shopping tonight at around 9pm & a beautiful lady by the name of Kay? I asked checkout for her name before leaving, I had asked her but I don't think she heard me before walking off helped me by grabbing another basket to put more things in as my hands were full & then proceeded to bring a basket full of my shopping to a checkout but asked if I had everything I needed before going to checkout. Amazing customer service, she went above & beyond 10/10 from this very happy customer.
I bought what was listed as a lamb roast.nCooked it only to find i have been scammed. It's not a lamb roast st all. It's 3 chops placed on top of each other and wrapped and sold as a lamb roast..this is terrible and dishonest.nAt aged 70 I do know what a lamb roast shud be like and as a farmers child this that I put in to cook is not one.nPlease remedy this and don't dupe others. I took photos and the receipt and packaging back to new world and told my story. There was an explanation, but I had to twice say...its the labeling that is wrong.but also the item was meant for a old person to collect but they did not turn up. Terrible again...took me several repeats to state its your labeling...its the label. If it said lamb chops I cud make an informed decision..but it clearly said lamb roast..they refunded me and I got a proper lamb roast..Big difference....please don't do this again ..nz has high labeling standards

However, when someone opts for almonds unsalted, the price suddenly jumps to $12.49. It's only upon careful scrutiny that one notices the small-font disclaimer mentioning the $9.99 price applies solely to cashew nuts.nnThis leaves me wondering why there aren't separate price tags for almonds. It gives the impression that you might want customers to assume all nuts, including almonds, are priced at $9.99 and potentially mislead them. I value transparency as a consumer, and such practices can erode trust.nnI kindly urge you to reconsider such pricing tactics. It's crucial to respect and value the trust your customers place in your brand. As a result of this experience, this is not the first timeI have decided not to shop at New World again.
the racist vibes in this place is unbelievable!! It's bad enough with the staff, but even the shoppers in here are just as bad, if you are of colour then be prepared to be followed around, stared at, and made to feel like you are in the wrong place! Disgusting behavior and that's being mild! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL
