New World Southmall

Been a regular customer over a year for now, I always felt like they work hard to make you not to come to the store. I've noticed their first priority is their colleague than customer. For eg. when I get beer, I will need on duty staff to allow the process to go further, if at the same time they hear another staff calling, they will just go ignoring the customer. I know couple of staff members who have done me twice. I only go there because it is close to my home. Whenever I have enough time, I go elsewhere.

Watch out for a 1-day sale at meat products!nLast time, I went there to get chicken, but what I picked up was packed on the day before, which is not a special price.nI contacted them, but there no reply.nnAnd this week I went for another 1 - day sale to get premium mince.nAgain, price is supposed to be $11.90 a kilo for every packet.nBut whatever packed previously was $27 per kilo.nThere's a lady just picked up, not special price, so I I told her it's not a special one, then she was surprised and thanked me.nnAlso, most of the time, staff at the cashier are not friendly.nSome time they don't greet, no saying thank you.nSo I only go there when they do 1 day sale. It's meaning like once a few months.

Been coming here for a year & found it convenient even though slightly more expensive than other places.nTonight there were products with misleading pricing, and the lady at the counter didn't give a shit. Won't be back.

Major improvement since additional self counters were opened, faster transition through and less queues at main checkouts. Staff are always polite and helpful.

I don't recommend this place. I use a back pack to carry all my essentials, purse, inhaler, drink bottle etc and they won't allow people to carry a back pack into their supermarket, there's a shelf to leave your bag. Which is handy for the local the if to punch your back pack so nah I won't go there anymore
