I bought a 12-pack of Carlsberg beer here last night. I missed this NW Branch. I went here at least once a week when I had a dear friend called AA who lived in a swanky apartment at Sixty Willis Street. I would bring my Karaoke machine to AL'S apartment which he shares with his partner. I would sing them love songs by Engelbert while having drinks, after dinner. I think AA still loves there, next to New World Metro, because he has bought the well-appointed apartment. I have
Absolutely blown away by how kind the bakery staff were on the 30th March. I looked to see if the Black Forest cake was there for a birthday and it had sold out! I asked if there were any more out back and the staff said they could do one in 2 hours - it made my day and was such a good, human moment. Huge kudos to the team, the cake was so beautiful and delicious. It was highly appreciated. Thank you!
Tried an Oreo lamington from the bakery. It was completely plain inside- wish it had a cream & jam filling.
Got the Acai from here! Really good price compared to other places and it tastes good!
Most of the staff are friendly and helpful — except for one middle-aged Asian lady with short, straight hair. She always wears a gloomy expression and seems determined to spread her bad mood to every customer she serves.
