I’d love to see them buy bigger real estate in the same/similar area. As a nearby office worker it’s great to have a well stocked supermarket nearby, especially one with great to-go options however the store is far too small for its mass audience of shoppers. Many of times lines will go from the front of the store and wrap around the bakery and into the skinny back isles/against the last wall. It’s clear they’ve outgrown their small space and it’s very overwhelming and a hassle when on short lunch breaks. Would love to see them expand in the near future!
I bought a 12-pack of Carlsberg beer here last night. I missed this NW Branch. I went here at least once a week when I had a dear friend called AA who lived in a swanky apartment at Sixty Willis Street. I would bring my Karaoke machine to AL'S apartment which he shares with his partner. I would sing them love songs by Engelbert while having drinks, after dinner. I think AA still loves there, next to New World Metro, because he has bought the well-appointed apartment. I have
Excellent supermarket with a huge choice in products. I went back twice for the hot pies at the delicatessen counter. Unfortunately, like Europe, very limited sugar free drinks, mostly energy drinks....crazy. But some excellent flavoured NZ dairy drinks. I wish I had one within easy access in Tasmania.
Absolutely blown away by how kind the bakery staff were on the 30th March. I looked to see if the Black Forest cake was there for a birthday and it had sold out! I asked if there were any more out back and the staff said they could do one in 2 hours - it made my day and was such a good, human moment. Huge kudos to the team, the cake was so beautiful and delicious. It was highly appreciated. Thank you!
Got the Acai from here! Really good price compared to other places and it tastes good!
