What do you call this? Pay extra for large fries. Get a small. Next time I’ll ask for an XXL. Terrible service. Sort your staff out.
To be honest it's good for a McDonald's. Food is usually pretty good but sometimes can be a pretty bad as well. Recently renovated and is usually pretty clean. I wouldn't buy the food at fully price but usually you can get good deals in the app. Service can be good but also slack and sometimes they forget to give you things that you bought. I also burnt my hand on the apple pie as it was scorching hot even after waiting 5 mins for it to cook down, I asked for a new one and they didn't care . There was an employee called Blake who was really nice and helpful, 10/10. And he was also very manly and big and strong.
McDonald's in Lower Hutt had a recent refresh and it's nice and tidy. They have music playing and new fresh seating. Same McDonald's food you expect, if you havent tried it, the big arch is actually a pretty decent burger for a fast food chain and way more filling than a bigmac.
Decided to go for a meal last night.nSorry to say I was disappointed.nMy fish burger was cold.nThe Bun had not even been heated.nI took it back and they remade it for me.nI also asked at the same time.nWhere was my coffee that I had been waiting 20 mins for.nUnfortunataley no apologies for both.nThis is not the first time this has happened .nUnfortunataley even though it is very clean and tidy compared to many others.nThe lack of consistency in their food quality needs to be investigated by the Owners.
The recent renovations look great, but unfortunately, the service hasn't improved. While some staff clearly work hard, others seem completely indifferent. I ordered a burger meal and found the bun had been thrown outside the wrapping, leaving the bag in a disgusting state. When I went to the counter to calmly highlight the issue, I was completely ignored. Very disappointing.
