The brother of one of the friends we were meeting recommended this place and it might just be my favourite cafe now. The coffee was incredible, and there are plenty of gluten free good options too. We were a table of four that all ordered the waffles with bacon and banana mine being gluten free and we weren't disappointed. My flat white was smooth with zero burnt bitterness, tried my partner's mocha latte and his was just as delicious. Looking forward to going back and trying more things from the menu.
Visiting to Christchurch we were actually directed to Lucianos by another cafe worker to go for Brunch and were not disappointed. The just eggs was a great twist of eggs on Turkish bread which kick started our taste buds for the day. Coffee was awesome and the time to get our food and coffee considering the place was packed left us gobbed smacked in was so fast. The staff were all so professional efficient and lovely.
YUMMY brunch. One of the best we had in Christchurch. We all had something different and everything was fresh and delicious. I had the chicken and waffles and was.pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great vibe here. Typically pretty full so it might be a good idea to reserve a table in advance.
Its rare that us Gluten Free customers have this much choice. Even if you are not GF try the dishes...divine. Chicken coleslaw a fave...and the slices OMG! Staff so friendly.Food: 5/5
Absolutely loved it! Worth every cent. It was amazing able to get a seat on Valentines day. Gluten free waffles are definitely worth a try!
Although the coffee was good as well as the muffin - overall experience was poor due to the following. The muffin had something brown well imbedded into it - it wasn't in the edges. My friend bit into it and I took the piece to the counter. To my surprise she didn't even offer another muffin - she said it's baking paper so nothing to worry about. I mean sure it's baking paper but do you want to be chewing on it when you are having a muffin. Not going back and didn't even receive an apology from the lady. I should have taken a pic but she kept the piece.
