Town Tonic

We had dinner on a Friday evening. We had a booking, which was just as well, as it was quite busy on arrival. We were quickly seated. We did the 3 course trust the chef option for $75 each. We ended up with the crispy truffle chicken, lamb loin and sticky date pudding. All of the courses were delicious and cooked well. Service was excellent, the food came reasonably quickly. All in all hard to find any fault. Recommended.

Honestly such a good experience. Food is absolutely to die for, although wish we had a steak knife to cut our meat, was very hard to cut with a normal knife! Anyway, the cocktail was absolutely gorgeous. The scallops are delicious and the rest were fantastic. Service is great too, very kind and attentive.Food: 5/5

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was great too. The chef puts a lot of effort into their presentation and the taste. A truly talented chef. I got the fish of the day and was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly cooked it was and sides really complimented the fish. The sauce was absolutely amazing too. A flavour explosion! Highly recommend Town Tonic for lunch or dinner! Thanks.

We had been given a gift voucher. Booked with easy and arrived on time. Staff gave a good explanation of what we were getting. We added wine pair to the meal at a very good price. As each course arrive with the paired wine it was explained clearly.. What an experience The started looked good, tasted amazing and I could have just ordered the same as a main and been very happy. Wine match was excellent. Main arrive. Beef. This was perfectly cooked and was so tasty and full of flavours. Again the wine match fitted perfectly. Dessert was a treat. Sweet, sour, crunchie with a sweet dessert wine

Such a lovely experience with friendly service! We did trust the chef and he did not disappoint, however we did wish there was more than one potato in the main. Lucky we got the fries which were also delicious . My partner loved the atmosphere and the design of the restaurant itself.

My friend and I had a wonderful evening of the most delicious meals we had experienced in a long time. My friend is Vegan which was the reason why I chose Town Tonic, their Vegan menu is the best we have seen, the variety of Vegan options was very pleasing. My meal the Lamb was exceptionally tasty and tender along with our delightful desserts made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Thank you Town Tonic.

Had breakfast with a group of friends this morning. It was lovely to be in a cafe that wasn't so noisy you couldn't hear each other for a change! The service was friendly and the food delicious. I had the nourish bowl pictured below. It was the perfect amount and delicious. My friends all had eggs bene with the delightfully pink beet hollandaise. All reported eggs poached perfectly! One of the best meals we have had in a long time. Every part of the new menu was just fantastic. We were a party of 5, making the most of the menu. Service was great, wine list good and the timing of courses was right on. The lamb was cooked to perfection and with two vegetarians in our party, the menu delivered flavour and taste for non-meat dishes. A most enjoyable evening and will certainly add this to the list of must eats.

It used to be one of the best vegan spots in town 5 years ago, but not anymore. Don’t get me wrong it’s still fancy place just not for vegan, just disappointing that you pay $$$ and leave hungry. We went for a set menu Valentines dinner. There was a choice of vegan beetroot tartare for starter and vegan lasagna as main, the taste was plain and nothing special , but portions bede so ridiculously tiny that we left hungry. For exactly the same price the non vegan option that people next to us were eating were massive which doesn’t sounds fair. Both chefs and staff seemed to struggle with amount of customers coming at the same time and there were many people waiting forever for their food. I think it’s time for owners to understand that nicely presented food is only part of the experience and you need to justify the very expensive price with right portions size and better service. It’s a NO from me !

I got eggs on your way with bacon and halloumi and my friend got eggs Benny. It was delicious! I was surprised that they have fresh juices, they make it while you are there and you can combine more than one fruit it tasted like home. They have an open kitchen, which I always find interesting watching them preparing the meals. Stuff was friendly and the environment was cozy. There isn’t car parking but it was easy parking on street.
