Honestly, management is really good and they look out for everyone. Maintaining the premises is impeccable, they interact with everyone making it feel as though you are home. It is kid safe and the community is also very welcoming. No need to be shy. Safety: Management looks out for there residents, and if any issues occur they handle the situations accordingly. Kid safe, family safe. Awesome.

I enjoyed staying here and getting to explore the area all the things that you need for living are nearby, to the point that I would like to continue living in Papatoetoe. Shirley and all of the staff were awesome to deal with. Nearby activities: Lots of shopping in Papatoetoe and Manakau. Plus, there is easy access to lots of other suburbs.

Outdated and dirty. Photos do not lie. Go somewhere else. Rooms are outdated with old and stained furniture and dirty walls and barely any kitchen equipment to cook with. No rangehood so if you do cook all the steam and smoke etc. remains in the room so you have to open the windows and doors. Location and soundproofing is terrible for noise. Place is located right next to a busy road that is used by vehicles all day and night including heavy trucks; whenever a truck goes by you can hear AND feel it in your room. If the unit next to you is having a shower or using their toilet late at night, you can hear the water running through the walls and the toilet flushing. If people are leaving or going after hours, unfortunately you can hear everything, their car starting, doors closing, even conversations word for word. Located opposite an intermediate school so you can also hear everything from them during pick up drop off and breaks as well as their school PA system. Only one carpark per unit. The only entrance is on a residential street and opposite townhouses so road carparks fill up quickly. The cleaners don’t sweep or vacuum, they only replace towels and toilet paper but yet the rooms do not have brooms or vacuums, only dustpans. Floors get dirty quickly and you need to wear slippers everywhere otherwise your feet feel disgusting when you walk barefoot from all the dirt on floor. Cleaning is subpar - if you are someone who knows how to clean then you notice dirt easily. Dropped an earring and went to pick it up and happened to see underneath the bed, which was dusty and dirty with leftover items from whoever had previously been in the room. Walls are dirty with scribbling ans grouting is also dirty. Photos show how disgusting the place is. The “King” sized bed was also just two singles put together, which happens in other places but the common method is only the base is separate but a singular mattress - not here, the mattresses were also single so when you slept on it and roll over, you can feel the split in the middle. No idea how they’re a “4 star hotel” when at best they’re a 2. Go somewhere you can get a quiet good night’s sleep and updated clean furniture that’s worth your money. Place is used as emergency accommodation despite the rooms not being suitable for long stay.

Our room was a bit close to the road but we all got a good night's sleep! Basic but clean and even left milk for us to have a cup of tea on arrival! Great for a stop off near the airport! Noteworthy details: Near the airport

Although there was one Female manager who was relatively nice and helpful, the three bedroom house that me and my family were put in that was paid for by work and income, was not up to clean hotel hygienic standards that you would expect as a worker at a hotel or a guest staying at a hotel. The floors had not been mopped and were dirty to the point where I would wear slippers because my socks or feet would go black because of it, the bathroom had mould in the shower and a huge brown stain in the bathtub. Also the windowsills had not been wiped and there was cobwebs in the toilets not to mention cockroaches in the rooms, blankets and bugs. Had arranged to stay at this place because of our neighbours puppies giving us a flea infestation due to breach of contract with pets and lack of enforcement from property management to get them removed, but this place turned out to be worse and revolting enough that we only stayed as long we could stand it which turned out to be only five days because of having to wait for the fumes from the fumigation that had been done.
