Howick Motor Lodge

Our stay was pleasant, only complaint we had was minor, in that it would have been nice if the room we booked had have been opened up to air out prior to our arrival. It was extremely warm in the room and while there IS air-con, being a two story room, the upper level never cooled down until early hours of the morning. Aside from that, the room was clean and tidy, the motel managers were very accommodating in allowing us a 2nd parking space as we were in Auckland to purchase a new vehicle. We would be more than happy to stay there again!

Stayed here with my family, room was ok. A little rough around the edges. Good location. Staff member good but not talkative. Kids loved the fish pond. Some bug issues with the bathroom. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Not recommended, very unfriendly, difficult to communicate. I mistakenly selected a date more than a month later, then immediately contacted the hotel, but the hotel refused to cancel for me.

I turned up 2 hours after the check in time -had a flight they had not even prepared the room for us towels dirty dishes everywhere. Also had things go missing here and they took NO RESPONSIBILITY for it and in fact laughed at my partner when he had asked about it. Wouldn’t recommend this to my enemy’s over priced for the most unprofessional, insanitary place I’ve stayed at could not believe this happened

It’s not the ritz but it definitely is Great Value for Money, Super comfy and had a heat pump for air con. The swimming pool was super cute and sparkling clear I would definitely stay here again.
