A great location.nAnd the vibe inside is like a jungle in the city which is amazing.nBut I feel they need to work on their cabin rooms.nAt the same price in people can get hotel room as well.

Parked at non powered site for 2 weeks. Rupert and wife are super helpful. Toilets, bathrooms and kitchen very clean and well maintained. Nice and quiet at night. Close to gym and sports ground. Reasonably price. Superb location. Will surely come again.

Absolutely love this beautiful place,owners/managers are so welcoming and accommodating, place is really clean and tidy, everything provided, it's quiet and peaceful, handy to everywhere, very comfortable, will definitely stay again, great for price, have stayed in few places that were really run down but not this place

Really nice camp ground, the birds and the trees added to the tranquil surrounding. Easy check in. Ladies showers were awesome!!! People were nice and friendly. Wouldn't think you were in the middle of Auckland City. Great takeaway not far, Upland Takeaways, highly recommend this place. Great place to stay!!!

Overpriced poor quality accommodation.nWe stayed for a weekend in the so-called Motor Lodge. The rooms haven't been renovated since the 1970s. They are nothing like the photos on the website.nThere was painters tape left on all of the windows. Looked like it had been there for years.nThe bathroom has no extractor fan. There were areas of mould around the toilet and behind the door. The paint behind the toilet was peeling. There was a hole in the wall that had been plastered very roughly.nThe cover plate on one of the power plugs in the kitchen was broken.nCouch and chairs were old and uncomfortable.nThe mattresses were old and moved around every time you moved.nAccess into and around the site is very difficult. Hence 1 star for location.nThe office closes early in the evening not mentioned on the websitenFriends who had been in the camping ground said the communal bathrooms were in very poor condition.nAnd yet they charge same rates as other hotels and motels in the area.
