Oakwood Manor

Awesome, pet friendly place to stay at, and they had very short notice on our booking. Staff are very friendly and we booked two rooms for 7 people and a large dog. Great prices for the rooms, which were clean and the bed linen smelled fresh. This venue is close to the airport and a great place to stay if you just need somewhere to stay one or more nights while on your travels. Highly recommend Oakwood Manor.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY FAMILY!!!nWe booked an apartment 129 travelled from Palmerston North travelled all day. Arrived around 5-6pm, we got into our room getting ready for a shower and relax, we found 1 big live cockroach on the wall will attach photo then another one live on the floor.nI called reception he proceeded to come to the apartment with fly spray.nThis is super disgusting pest control needs to be involved this place needs to investigated.nI have 2 children also.nAll waiting a refund.

I don’t know where to start. We booked a two bedroom apartment for one night to stay with our family before heading to the airport.nThe room was disgusting - long black hair all over the floor, used makeup wipes in one of the bedrooms, toilet roll holder was broken, the sound proofing was non existent so we were kept awake all night by other residents, no air con and the bedrooms were sweltering, door handles missing, dirty dishes in the drawer, overall cleaning standard was digusting.nAdditionally, I accidentally left my wedding ring set on the bathroom windowsill and when I rung later in the day, they claimed it wasn’t there and “could send me video proof that it wasn’t there”, so one of the cleaners has gained a beautiful white gold and diamond wedding ring set…. How lucky for them.

Nice tight knit rooms, although most definitely needs air con or atleast 2 fans as it is SO hot. Pool was good! Service was good. Although need to supply more towels considering multiple swims. & kind of strange no door on bathroom - no window in toilet. But I really enjoyed my stay and thank you very much!

Old but spacious room. More like a motel so no stairs or lift. Free laundry. And airport shuttle.nFood in Mangere is really good and cheap!
