The Bad side:nn- Pipes are very noisy and loud.nn- There are no blinds in the bathroom.nn- Small amounts of mold everywhere.nn- Shower door very loose andnkeeps coming off it's rails.nn- Windows don't seal, so it gets very cold, especially at night.nn- Place is a quite old and needs fixing up.nn-Right by the road so you can hear cars and night noise all night, especially since the windows don't latch.nn-Lights outside the rooms are extremely bright and shine into the bedroom, making it almost as bright as day time.nn- Carpet almost as ancient as the EgyptiansnnThe Good side:nn- The receptionist was lovely and was nice and helpful to us.nn- Although the motel is quite old and has a lot of issues, it's fairly clean and decent to stay in if you want something on the cheaper side.nn-Has pretty well working wifi.nn-The beds are clean and comfortable.nnOur stay here wasn't the worst experience of my life but I definitely won't ever come back here as there are just too many issues with the place.

We had to make a last minute trip due to a cancelled flight. We arrived at 1.30am in the morning. The guy on the desk was fantastic, great service. Organised our shuttle and car storage. The room was a good size, clean, comfortable and quiet. The service was excellent and nothing was a problem. The services offered for shuttles and car storage are excellent! I’ve never written a review before but I was so impressed I just had too and I’ll be telling everyone I know. Great work Auckland Airport Lodge.

We had a lovely clean room and the staff were so lovely. They let us leave our bags in their office while we went in to town, they were super friendly and the free shuttle bus to the airport was great.

Stayed here the night before my son flew out to Europe. We were put in a unit at the front by the entrance. The units are old and tacky. The motel room was dirty and had a funny smell to it. Unfortunately we were also kept awake by the traffic going past all night. I would not stay here again.

Very helpful staff. Our unit was clean and had everything we wanted and needed. Thoroughly recommend for people staying in Auckland for a short time and also for people travelling overseas
