Golden Roast

As you can see, this apple custard was way too cold, I can't even eat put a knife through it, it's ro k solid, mircowaving it atleast would have been good. 2nd time coming here and wouldn't come at all again, overpriced. Tried charging my partner $2 for a thing short pork

Best roast on the shore! Their potatoes are amazing and they are very generous with the meat...my wife and I wouldn’t go anywhere else even though we have plenty of other options much closer to our house Great value for money!

Worst fish and chips i ever had. Portion size was absolutely unacceptable. soaggy fish and chips, dirty oil for deepfryer. Won’t go back.

Good parking quick service at the busiest time and night. Large size roast enough for 2 adults unless you are super hungry

Food is ok, size of the roasts isn't great, the guy who seems to run the place needs to take a course in customer service because being rude and arrogant doesn't make me want to rush back, also I asked for a pork roast with no potatoes, I got a lamb with nothing but potatoes?? If these is a language barrier then find someone who is competent in speaking English to deal with customers, the 2 stars I've given is extremely generous, not a place I'd recommend

Highly unimpressed with this roast store spent money here for the last three nights tonight I’d ask for allots of gravy on my pork roll as the rolls are dry he doesn’t put enough gravy on them and he insults me in front of other customers saying that I’m causing trouble by asking for this and should make my own ? He’s lucky I didn’t make a complaint when his son was bleeding from his mouth and he was using his hands to help him without washing his hands to handle the food afterwards . Really annoyed at this place as someone who was becoming a regular . Appalling customer service and will be reporting to the commerce for terrible hygiene and disgusting customer service . Wasn’t going to leave this review but tonight he’s pushed it too far .

Neat, clean and very tidy business. Great variety of roasts, chicken and other items available. Portions are big no matter which size meal you order. Different condiments available and even when they are very busy, your turnaround is quick. Staff are very friendly. Highly recommended and will be back....
