Found JL Recipe tonight and I am so happy. Old school Chinese takeaway and it was amazing. Just what I was looking for. We will be coming back soon.

Good fish n chips, little oily but fish tasted fresh and they filled our phone order exactly and had it ready within 30 mins right at peak time.

Super tasty Chinese and malay flavours. Ready in no time. Def my new go toFood: 5/5

I normally only write positive reviews - this is the first negative review I've bothered to take the time to post. The dinner was by far the worst takeaway meal experience I've ever had. Firstly, when I rang with a few questions regarding the dishes, the two women on the phone didn't seem able to understand my questions & kept providing mis-information. When I finally thought we got it sorted, I ordered a dish which appeared to be just over $15 on their website/menu. Yet when I picked it up, it was about $1.50 more. The only comment that was made was "oh... we haven't had time to update our website" I suggested they should. No apologies or attempt to rectify the situation. Once I got home, the medium chili hot sauce was tasteless and anything but hot. The noodle/veggie/meat combo was 80% noodles, virtually no veggies, and all of the meats were very overdone & chewy. One of the most tasteless meals I've ever encountered. I ended up throwing it all in the bin, it was that bad. I definitely will never go back and suggest they update their website and have a look at their customer service ethic.

Our local- best Chinese takeaway around. Super fresh crunchy vegetables, and heaps of them. Our standard Beef and black bean and combination fried rice easily feeds 4 people. I love the chop suey too.

Nice fish and chips. However the Chinese takeaways food weren't that great. Lemon Chicken was a bit bitter, the chop suey didn't look like chop suey. Very friendly staff though :

Great Chinese food. But the fried stuff isn't good. Chips are soggy. Maybe they can look into better, fresher oil. And better quality ingredients. Edit. Much improved. Best in the area.
