Don’t know where to start. Staff are very friendly and smiley Finally decent coffee. Food was great especially the fried chicken sandwich. The only thing is they don’t have almond milk for coffee but they got oat and coconut milk. And last the vibes in the place are great! Soo recommended
Delicious food and coffee! I’ve only been in NZ a few days but this has been the best breakfast so far. Chicken waffles, burrito, brownie and a small double shot latte.Recommended dishesFidel's Waffles Fried Chicken and Waffles, Breakfast Burrito, Fried Chicken Waffles
I waited about 15 minutes to be served and about 20 minutes for my meal. The man who seated me was super bubbly and friendly. The 'Fidel's Feast' big brekky was tasty with a yummy homemade hash brown and perfectly poached eggs. The coffee was delicious but pretty small. The meal and coffee cost $37 including the holiday surcharge. There was some music playing which was nice and created an ambient vibe. All in all a pleasant experience.
OMG THIS PLACE IS HEAVENLY! Love the vibe, love the food, love the attitudes! My favourite Cafe in Wellington Make a booking because it gets popular! The chicken on waffles are AMAZE-BALLS! I can't praise the cashews that come with the chicken enough!! Had drinks, the big breakfast, breakfast burrito, and baked Spanish eggs!
Best thick shakes in town, although you’ll pay for it at $11. But worth it. We tried their big breakfast and Caesar salad too. Both delicious. Get there early because it does get really busy after 10am. It’s a little cold in winter because half their space is outdoors too. Enjoy!
We visited this cafe for brunch, on our trip to Wellington. This place was extraordinary!! The samosa was so light n yet crispy on the outside bringing out all the beautiful flavours , Fidel’s feast was delicious n perfect for brunch and not to forget , the Cuban burrito was a massive hit !! Loved every bit of food which was on the table. Also to mention, the service was really good n pretty fast even though the place was crowded. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.
Easily my favourite place to eat in Welly! So SO good Chicken sandwich was my favourite but you can’t beat the Cubano. Also a cookies and cream thickshake is a MUST
Pretty packed. Mocha was really good and creamy. I ordered the Cubano Sandwich. It was good. The bread was really good but for me, the filling could do with more seasoning. Otherwise, worth the try at least once.Food: 3/5
I went here for brunch after ages and nothing had changed in the nicest way possible - delicious food and coffee, friendly staff, cosy, hippy and colourful place. I tried the smashed avo and it was really good. A big thumbs-up to food, service and place.
Very cool cafe! Atmosphere is really enjoyable and the coffee is some of the best I’ve had. I normally have a little milk in my coffee, but I didn’t even want to add milk to the coffee because it was so delicious. We also tried the breakfast burrito and the chicken and waffles, both which were delicious. The staff here was really friendly as well. Overall it’s just an awesome little cafe with great coffee and food. What more could you want?
