Service was good. Famous hot chocolate was so warming and hits the right spot. But the Oven Fried Chicken was on the dry side though and under-seasoned.Food: 3/5
Well everyone knows I had one of the best hot chocolates ever. That's why I went there and they delivered, I'm sorry I couldn't get a picture of how it looked initially, cause I couldn't resist mixing it up and tasting it. But it was great, a must try if you're in Wellington.Food: 5/5
Their hot chocolate is brilliant, one of the best I've had. However we weren't super happy with the pizzas. The dough wasn't very good and we didn't think they had a lot of flavour. Vegetarian options: A lot of the pizzas are vegetarian
From the pizza to the olives their signature fried chicken raspberry sundae and ofcourse their signature hot chocolate and our pinot Gris we didn't waste any and we were happy to indulge on all the dishes and drinks. Scopa was an easy place chill relaxed good food azing service fast and comforting you can never go wrong in this place very straight forward just good quality delicious food simple offers that upscale your palate and experience definitely worth the try and a runner up for a go to place
Good pizza place. Although they said there was a big takeaway order before us, our food took about 40 minutes. Quite dark inside but a cool atmosphere. I’m sure it would have a been a much nicer experience if it didn’t take as long. If I ever come back to Wellington I might come back but it’s not on the top of my list.Recommended dishesMargherita Pizza
Mozzarella sticks were great but pizza lacked a littlest bit of flavor, specially in the cheese. Some basil leaves were not fresh and it was only ~6-7 leaves on their wholesale pizza. Good overall experience, but could be better.
Everything about this place is perfect..it’s location in cua street, the vibe , the friendly staff n of course the food..yumm yumm yumm.. Hot chocolate is delicious, fried chicken is really good n pollo alla vodka cheesy n should only be ordered if u are really hungry..the karma cola has a nice kick to it n goes really well with the sexy fries..highly recommended
Hot chocolate is great, I heard many good things about the hot chocolate and how rich it is, so I was scared that it would be too sweet but no. It’s the perfect amount of sweetness, not too sweet, so rich and creamy. 3stars because I’m not the biggest fan of the pizza here. It’s just nothing amazing. Come here for the hot chocolate and the sexy fries!!
Food was great, but the service was questionable. Temporarily seated at the bar, but then forgotten… it was busy during level 2 alert. Okay that’s fine, but they basically forgot about us. The guy serving us, one minute he’s friendly, tells us about the secret menu item, the next it’s like “can you mind to move your plates”, and then drops the pizza on this tiny bar, somehow not noticing it’s clearly not enough space, and walks away without a word... A table becomes available, so we ask a server, could we have that table, “I’m not sure, ask the guy at the bar”… asp we try to get his attention, but in moments it’s just about to be given to a guy who just walked in? So we say hey can we have that table? “since you’re already eating”, not even “sorry about that”. I mean I don’t expect to be treated like a prince or anything, but.. did I do something wrong? Was I wearing the wrong shoes or something… I don’t get it. We ordered an off menu pizza and hot choc The sign out front says “$15 pizzas”, sounds like a good deal until you realize actually there’s only one pizza that price, the margarita. Classic bait and switch. Good food, yeah, but the experience is slightly soured.
The wait time for our pizza was to long to compare to what to expect from an Neapolitan pizza restaurant, and not busy at all. Finally we thought ours were about to arrive, but they was placed on the table next to ours, whom ordered after us. Also another’s table got their food before us, they also came after us. We had not done any special orders with our pizza. When the pizza finally arrived they where ok but definitely have had much better. Very expensive sparkling water. Not good service if the waitresses.
