Milk Crate

The food and coffee here is amazing. I ordered a cold filter coffee but wasn’t too sure how to order it and the staff member walked me through it and made an amazing coffee with a little milk and some maple syrup- life changing! I was pleasantly surprised by the sandwich as I ordered it in a rush so I wasn’t sure what was in it and it had smoked chicken and kimchi!! Seriously this place is my favourite. Definitely recommend!

The best part of getting a coffee or light snack/lunch in this cool little cafe, is enjoying the decor and fine artisan items for sale in the space they share with Precinct 35. Today, I’m glad to have some extra time to kill, so I relax and breathe in the cool architecture and thoughtfulness that’s gone into the interior design. My cappuccino is delicious, and the small selection of sandwiches, rolls and sweet treats look very fresh and inviting. After my coffee, I enjoy a leisurely browse through the stunningly beautiful pieces of leatherwork, pottery, jewellery, sunnies, handwoven rugs and sophisticated and functional storage knickknacks for your kitchen, plus linen etc that would grace any space. Overall, a very aesthetically rewarding experience and well recommended.

Great coffee, sandwich and staffs! I left my shopping bag behind at the cafe. The man with beard found it and brought it to me. Thank heaps!

Many thanks for keeping open late this afternoon when I had two Tourists, who after a gruelling three hour #Trikn_Tour ride were in need of a good caffeine fix. Excellent staff!! Excellent Coffee, We will be back!!

Very relaxed vibe. Great coffee and scone here. Looked like other good options to choose from too. Outside seating area which was bathed in sun when we were there about 11- 1pm.

Great coffee, nice quick bites too, like sandwiches and sweet treats. Normally pretty chilled, has a lovely shop attached.

Great coffee, great food, great staff. Best egg sammie in Wellington. All the other sandwiches and rolls are delicious too. Great vegan and vegetarian options. And are environmentally conscious.

My fav place for coffee around town. Would be easy 5 stars if the short Asian girl with the bowl cut didn't work there. The rest of the team are amazing but I actively avoid milk crate if she is serving. Terrible attitude and customer service. Needs to stop smoking around customers too.
