Inside, out the back and the visible area under the stairs looked very dirty and not cleaned for a very long time. Service was good though, mango smoothie was very nice, bacon and eggs were good although I'm not sure why you would put vinaigrette below the eggs as it made it taste much worse. Some butter or similar on the bread would allow that crispy crust to melt in your mouth too. The rest of the food was good and overall I would come back.. keep it up.
Good dinner options. Pretty large portions-- both food and beer, so come hungry and thirsty!
I've been in twice now. Good big breakfast and coffee. Had a blueberry muffin the next day great. Service is very friendly and fast. Think this might become my local. Come here most days, the food, coffee and service are excellent. It's one of my favourite places . Know matter when I go in, the service is always good, always very smiling friendly staff, even when busy, you feel part of the family. Dietary restrictions: Options here
Honestly, one of the best steaks I have had in a while. Quick serve times, and yummy food. Would highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Super slowwwww. Just order 2 drinks but have to wait for more than 10 mins. There weren't a lot of customers but the service was very slow. The coffee was so so. Don't come just go somewhere else.
Our go to cafe in town. Love the laidback vibe and staff are always friendly. We always get the chef's bacon buttie and it never disappoints!! Not many places provide simply tasty food these days from what we have found but Samick has held up well. Stay good Samick
I came here once when it was Espressoholic but it was a cold dark dirty pit of a place. Since the rebranding the name is now Samick cafe and bar. It is light but moody, really spacious as you know from previous reviews I hate bumping elbows with strangers while I’m eating my food. Eggs Benedict 10/10 yum! They buttered the muffins underneath which was a nice touch. And generous on the bacon which is a really nice change for Wellington. $18 Coffee great 8/10 personally was way to hot for me at the start and took ages to drink. $5.50 Sooo many options for food and drinks I wonder what they do with all the leftovers the cabinet food looks really yum and good pricing too. They have a liquor license too so you can have a cheeky drink. Service was great the wait staff were very pleasant, friendly and looked really happy to be there. Overall I’m really impressed. I’ll be honest I was on my way to a different cafe that I love when I saw this place didn’t have a lot of people in it. If you’re reading this go support them they’re doing great. Vegetarian options: Yea sure just order the vegetarian meals Kid-friendliness: I guess as long as they’re well behaved. There’s not exactly a toy box for them or anything but they do do fluffys for $2 Wheelchair accessibility: Yeap definitely no stairs, all flat and lots of room to move about
This place is on another level if you love shisha. Was packed on the weekend night both the cafe and the seating area at the back, but still we got great service. The owners are friendly and welcoming great selection of drinks accompanied by food. Perfect place to visit with friends for some good shisha and meeting new people.
Fairly flavourless cheese scones. It's important to be worth the calories and this wasn't. WiFi worked well.Food: 3/5
Honestly the best cafe in wellington, if you’re a fan of the big kiwi breakfast there’s nowhere better, just make sure you add on salmon
