Awesome cafe but always busy! Coffee is consistently great and make sure to try their toasts! Hands down the best cafe in Welly.
Fave coffee shop we have found in Welly!! Super friendly service, delicious brews, and cute lil deli sandwiches that look great we didn’t try!. Seems like an awesome local to do work in or meet friends for a coffee. 10/10 would recommend
Best coffee in all of NZ! Always come here on the daily every time we’re in Wellington. Vibes are on point and staff are so friendly. I’ll be dreaming about the brioche toast for years.
This was a very cute coffee shop in Wellington. My flat white was very good. I also got an Apple strudel which was delicious. It is a small space but they make the most of it. The staff is also very friendly.
After the New York Times complimented Customs last year, I had to see for myself. And it WAS good. The service was as good as the coffee. It has the same cosy vibe that its predecessor, the Milkcrate had. But there are at least a half dozen good coffee places nearby, so what makes it so special? The answer is in getting everything nuanced right. Location, coffee temperature, smiles, space for pets. But that doesn't mean you won't have a wonderful wakeup somewhere else.
Cute and cosy. Had our Kenya filter, black, egg salad toast and a tart. The filter and toast were absolutely surprise of the day. Love it. So as the service.
Truly "supreme" coffee! Consistently on point flat white - excellent balance of flavours and the milk is as smooth as paint. Even if you only order a coffee they always give you a glass of water which I really appreciate. Sandwiches are excellent too and well worth the splurge. Go on weekdays or early hours of the weekend to get a table! I hope Tim and his staff keep up the great work :
Coffee is great and so is the food. A little pricy but so is everything in Wellington. Really lovely staff and service, a great little spot in the city.
This place was amazing! We got the Cold filter coffee with the “naughty” milk and it was to die for- especially on a hot morning. All of the toasts look amazing- especially the fruit toast and the avocado toast with the lab eh and the chili coriander oil, which is what we ended up getting. The staff was super friendly- they went above and beyond for everything and even brought extra chairs outside to us without us even asking when they saw we were waiting for a seat to open up with the dog. Definitely recommend!
Always a superb coffee. Must visit spot every time I'm back in Wellington.Food: 5/5
