Classic and really authentic New York Italian Pizza. I enjoyed the beautiful cuisine as a Italian restaurant experience. The interior design was fantastic and also was the staff friendly and helpful. The shop was clean and tidy. I really recommend this place for a visit. Cheers

We were pretty happy with the NY style crusts, but they were out of the black garlic they promoted which I had planned to order. The pepperoni may have been authentic but was too mild for my taste, No salad or wine available. European soccer on the TV. Vegetarian options: Rather than the specifically named Veggie, we had Nona, which was also vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: Staten Island was vegan as had no cheese. I liked it best.

Yet to find something on the menu we don't love here. The garlic knots are ah-may-zing! Make sure you order lots, you will fight over them and want more than one. Such a novelty the way they serve pizza. Kids were a bit unsure of the basil on the pizza but realised that's partly what makes it so delicious, haha! Bit pricey compared to Dominis or Pizza Hut and it can get busy but it is well worth planning ahead and stopping for lunch or dinner as a special treat! Kid-friendliness: Kids will love it!

This is the second time that I have had sals pizza and my first time dining there in person and their pizza slices are thin and delicious, the service is really good and the calm atmosphere of their place stands out as an atmosphere that will suit anyone going there by themselves, with friends or with family members for a quick bite. I will definitely pay them a visit again soon.

As a New Yorker I don’t have a lot of options in Wellington, but Sal’s —also an ex-pat New Yorker— brings a pretty solid pie to the city. Best eaten when fresh. Order entire pies to go for the best quality.

Very authentic NY style pizza, a little wait but the taste was rich and portions huge. Atmosphere is relaxed and ample seating for families or on your own.

It's pretty good tasting pizza but a bit on the oily side. The ones I'm most keen to try black garlic are never a single slice option. Vegetarian options: Option available Kid-friendliness: Kids would love it I imagine Parking: Finding parking close by is a mission, but if your happy to walk a bit, there are paid options. Wheelchair accessibility: Tight squeeze I'd say.
