Everybodys
"With more than seven different areas, Everybody's really is for everybody.Nestled off Fort Lane, it's unassuming from the outside, step though the lane to an elegant, decadent split-level oasis perfect for evening drinks and much more.Everybody’s was New Zealand's first cinema, and the very dramatic space is now Auckland’s favourite after work bar. Warmed by white-washed exposed brick, slouch-worthy leather sofas and private booths, it’s so very cinematic, but now ready for real memories to be made in.Everybody’s gastro bar opens at 4pm for after work drinks, dinner, late cock- tails and even a bit of dancing in the wilding hours. It is also the base for the majority of events, weddings and functions at Imperial House"

Went on a thursday night for dinner. Location is good. Food was good, nothing extraordinary but good. Music was great they had a dj. They seem to have different kind of music every night. Service was good overall but at some point we needed the waitress but she was probably having her dinner break and there was no one to help us.. so we just had to wait until someone else came at some point later on. The decoration is interesting, a bit eclectic? Probably a good place to go for drinks during happy hour more than for food?
I had to wait a while to be greeted/ seated. Also they don't do cocktails? So the happy hour is only wines etc.. not usually what i would expect for happy hour - bit weird. The fish main I got was nice. And the truffle butter in the Croque monsieur my friend ordered was delish although the bread was a bit burnt and it did come out a while after the other 3 dishes we had ordered, so my fish was cold by the time we had everything on the table. We weren't blown away by the carrots or bitter Lettuce side dishes- Felt they were missing some heartiness or rich flavours. Wish there were a few more main and appetiser options honestly. Cool venue, but overall was a bit average. Also music was blasting from the other side of the room so we had to shout the whole time to hear eachother..
Great location for drinks with comrades. It's been awhile since I've been back and for some reason I've not ordered food but will do this next time for sure! I've been to private events here - a 50th and a wedding so it is a popular event space.
The food was really bland, was not too appealing. The service was great and the pizza made up for the score, the crunchy texture and the cheese made it extremely delicious. The platter wasn’t too good. The bruschetta was also another factor that pulled the score up, the cheese was delicious and the tomatoes were sweet.
Would recommend the happy hour menu ! $6 drinks and $1 oysters! Otherwise, the actual menu and food is not the best. The pork belly was mushy, no crackle and the slaw served with it was over seasoned with salt! Eggplant skin was tough, calamari was barely on the plate and was mostly just onion rings instead. Pekin duck crepes were not bad. The only good dish was really the truffle mash. Really just paying for ambience, live DJ and atmosphere. Service was super friendly though !
Good atmosphere, great service, food tasted amazing, especially the fried chicken!
We came by for drinks for graduation. Look for the sign on Fort Street and then head up the stairs. The outdoor area looked quite nice and the dining area was towards the back of the building. They did have a nice selection of drinks.
Great food. Great ambiance. Great service. Landed there at happy hour and topped up on some Prosecco. Highly recommend their prawn toast and hempseed sourdough with mushroom butter.
$1 oysters for oyster happy hour and cheap drinks everyday. Easy to get a table on a Sunday afternoon, with great friendly service.
A great place to hang out with friends. Nice decor and atmosphere with really friendly service. The booths are comfortable for a small group with just enough privacy and table space to share a few small plates. The small plates larger than the usual tapas sizes and a great option to share between a few people. The scallops were perfectly cooked and so was the calamari which is not easy to do! The Peking duck actually has the flavours of ones you’ll find at a Chinese restaurant. Overall, great food. Highly recommended.
