I had the TRUFFLE FETTUCCINE w/ bacon and cheese, also the chicken and bacon burger, unfortunately they lacked some real flavor. Even though “Truffle” is mentioned in the name of the dish on the menu, unfortunately the truffle flavor in the TRUFFLE FETTUCCINE was absent. As for the chicken & bacon burger it also came across as a bit plain not very exceptional. The coffee was OK and I liked the decoration and atmosphere.

A fabulous dining experience for a Saturday night. Great vibes, exceptional food by the owner and superb Chef, Phil and expertly served by his lovely wife. Will be back

Food is amazing and really tested homemade bread love it Sorry for the 3 stars because waiting time quite long, I can see only one busy chef in the kitchen but not mean I had to wait And the kids area all the toy is way too dirty, need do some hygiene manage my baby feel interested but I'm not really feel let her for it *the Lemon cake not from here, sorry I bought from other cafe. Love their own baked bread. The servings were generous and foods we've ordered were all flavourful. Service was great too!

In the past I spent 10 years reviewing breakfast cafes in Sydney and while on holiday in NZ of all places I find a cafe that has impressed me more than anything else for a long time. The Royal Crumpets were ordered sans eggs. The combination of bacon, onion marmalade and parmesan was made all the more impressive because of the quality. The bacon was thick cut so it really stood out. It was all brought together by a near perfect hollandaise that was creamy as it should be, with the right amount of tang. And crumpets rather than the usual toast/croissant/muffin helped to set it apart. It just got better with house made rosti and a beef sausage with dense flavoursome interior and a delightful snap. Decadent mint hot chocolate and cappuccino to drink on the side coupled with fantastic service simply made for my favourite breakfast cafe after 2 weeks of dining out in NZ. Excellent, family-friendly cafe the owners' children are present some days with a good range of cabinet food and baked goods. The coffee is very good and one can sit indoors or out, with plenty to view in lively Kingsland. I have had snacks before, but this time, we just had our coffee out on the pavement.

Good coffee/food, lacked urgency. Went on a Sunday mid-morning for brunch. Establishment was just over half full. Coffee was great, came out fast and was hot. Food was good, but it took over half an hour to come out breakfast burger and a side of chips.

We tried Kingsland Social while visiting Auckland in April 2022 and loved our lunch experience. So we returned for breakfast a year later during our annual family visit and we're equally impressed. We even turned our mother onto the Cafe and she only lives up the road from Kingsland. Highly recommend the Kingsland Social! Kid-friendliness: There is a play spot with kid toys indoors. Parking: There is a paid parking lot nearby.

Had cabinet food as kitchen was closing. My partner enjoyed his sandwich however my slice was rock hard, could not cut through it to share. The entire place needs a tidy-up and spring clean, looks shabby. Friendly staff though.
