Came here for a jazz night - wonderful vibe, wonderful staff, yummy pizza, yum cocktails. Only gripe would be the small tables that couldn’t fit much food/drinks at once but the place is meant to be intimate! Was a $5 koha for the live music but if you didn’t want to pay that you were still able to be seated outside.Food: 5/5
Had such a wonderful time last night, it would be unjust not to make it known! The staff have perfected the art of hospitality. The baba ganoush was delectably smokey and our cocktails were faultless. An absolute treat, thank you!
One of a kind - cosy, quirky place with fine wine, great beer and good food. Staff are charming and the vibe is nicely laid back. Added bonus: great fish and chip shop across the road.
Love returning here when back in Grey Lynn. There are 3 pubs in the centre of the West Lynn area of Grey Lynn and whilst they are all great this is the favourite. A busy locals' bar with excellent wines and guest craft beers and excellent thin based pizza to comply with the licensing regulations that food must be available. The owner Mike may play a tune on the piano and there regular live music evenings. Back in February 2023! Still here and still wonderful. Gorgeous crew. TripAdvisor Torbayaotearoa. Later. Ma te wa. Wow! What a crazy place. Bought tickets for a jazz show and the place was packed to the rafters...and a bit uncomfortably so. Great atmosphere wine and a few beers and cocktails available for purchase. They also did a pizza for the show but it would have been hard to try and eat as we were all so close to each other. The music was the best I heard in a while.

Atrocious service, expensive average wine, what else we say! Our group did not even get a chance to order food and left after 40mn of being ignored by the pretentious little waiter/bartender. We are locals so will make a point of not recommending to others.
Had a lovely time with a friend from Texas. The bar staff are happy to accommodate any cocktail requests...wr had a couple of whisky sours of exceptional quality. the music is worth a visit on its own merits. double bass and classical piano made it even more special!
Cracking pizza and just an all round good vibe.
