My family and I had booked Jack's room to host an event in as we liked pictures shown on the website, however what was portrayed on the website was not what we got, the place was disgusting, the floors/chairs and pretty much everything was sticky that we had to clean them and even then it didn't help. Nothing was set up and they were unprepared. The bar was dirty that we had to inform our guess to drink from bottles and brought extra cups for them to use. The service was very poor and they charged 500 which was only compensated into a bar tab because we brought it up to them. Would not recommend this but there is burger joint across the road that was really good.

Kinda grungy but cool space. Toilets were a shocker however our bar manager Alex was outstanding,fun and efficient. I'd hire again because of location and Alex and the fact they meet all our needs regarding music etc. I'd do 5 star for service though!!!

Great spot to hire out for a birthday or little get together. Bar service is on point. Plenty of dance floor space if you're up for a boogie. Not much seating inside but moderate size of seating outside of the bar. It's a good spot for a little party or a few drinks.

Was a first time for me. Atmosphere was good, but a little too crowded with people really close to each other. Guys feeling up women and people barging through with no consideration. Bouncers, doorman and bar women were all nice. Had a bit of a personal dilemma trying to find internet and 1 of the bouncers was nice enough to connect me so I could get myself home. Might return back, but is definitely a place for the young, younger people. Liked the music too.

Had a private party here & service was poor, bartenders lacked basic customer service skills didn't smile. Over charged on drinks, limited my drinks although I was NOT drinking, overall was not looked after. Will not go back nor recommend unless you enjoy poor service.

Held Loren's 40th Birthday party here on July 15th. Fantastic service. The food platters were beyond my expectations and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. Thank you George Bar for helping us to celebrate Loren's birthday, and a fantastic evening.

My Fiancé and I threw a leaving do June '17 - such an amazing venue! Super easy organising with Pete, super cool guy and really helped us out. We booked the front bar George and there was another venue that night at the back bar – they were able to organise a separate entry for everyone. So easy to get to in Ponsonby. Cannot recommend enough. Super stoked and we will definitely be back!!!

Appalling customer service. I booked an event for November but they have recently lost their liquor license. Nobody told me, I read it in the news, then it took over 3 weeks to get my money back. Wouldn't respond to emails so I had to chase them on Facebook, then they lied and said I'd send the wrong details! Extremely rude and arrogant to deal with. Wouldn't recommend.

as your address is the same as the so called aucklandmovement....3 brothers who do promotions for artists such as Renee Geyer. Customer service is a sham, own up and pay up! didn't want to give yous any stars but ya have tick 1 to send,now even thats laughable.

Really $20 for a ginger beer & vodka?? I asked about the price?! $11 for a shot of Vodka?? Don’t recommend this bar if u have a family to feed! Lol
