Ernle Clark Reserve

We enjoyed a pleasant stroll along the Heathcote River, taking approximately 4500 steps if you loop to the west end of the well-maintained footpath beyond the reserve. Pausing for a delightful break, we savored real fruit ice cream from the kiosk while sitting on a picnic bench. This spot is perfect for short family walks or bike rides.

Lovely area next to the Heathcote River, planted to resemble an English Woodland. Shady and peaceful, with birds chirping all the time. Pity the noise of the cars interrupts the serenity of this place. Runs from roundabout of Barrington St/Purau Place to Swan Lake massage on Ernlea Terrace. Recommend taking an all terrain buggy if taking baby as the gravel is a bit loose in some areas. Best parking near Princess Margaret Hospital then walk over.

I love biking through here, especially at night. However, it is usually quite busy during the day which makes it hard to bike through without knocking people over.

Lovely walk by the river, a little oasis to emmerse yourself in nature and get away from the noise of the city.
