Cracroft Reserve

Easy to get too, parking a challenge being next to Sign T cafe, not much there except the fantastic views. No wheel chair access up stairs to lookout, but views some of the best. Nice path for prams but some big steps. Great for kids to run around. But small compared to nearby Victoria Park.

Nice reserve but lots of folks refer to this place as The sign of the Takahe rather than Cracroft Reserve! There's 2 lookouts but the first is useless as it's completely obstructed by bushes. The 2nd lookout gives extensive views of Christchurch. My photos don't do it justice as it was a rather cloudy day.

A great little park for kids and dogs to explore away from the hustle bustle of the city - and a fabulous lookout at the top
