Great scooter/skatepark for the kids with adjacent playground and public toilets. The mini trains next to it run every Sunday from 1 to 4pm as well, and they are always a hit with the kids! Moreover, the Halswell Library is a short drive away. It's large and well-stocked with a cute café and swimming pool that opens in summer.
Stunning spot with so.ething for everyone, nature, walks, large field and a lovely coffee cart.
Lots of grass, lots of trees, lots of parking. Lovely place for a picnic - as long asnthere are no cricket matches. With the library and great swimming complex next door you'll be spoilt for choices of activities.
Awesome place to take the family for a picnic and train ride the kids loved it.
I loved seeing this tree near the miniature train tracks that was covered in monarch butterflies wintering over. If you do seek it out, please be mindful not to take any butterflies from the tree as they may die. These monarchs are the ones that will lay the eggs for next summer and keep the monarch population going.
