INCREDIBLE in Autumn, wow! a lovely place to delight your eyes as you walk through rows of reddening trees, all the more magical as the sun is setting. Many people and cyclists on the track, but still had space to skate through and make a few rounds. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Free street parking is tricky during peak periods, and paid parking lots can also get full.
Only snapped one picture this trip, but will be sure to add more. One of my favorite places in christchurch. Always something to do. Always beautiful. Always bustling. If you're even in christchurch on a sunny day, go become one with the atmosphere.
Beautiful park in Christchurch. Well maintained and a good place to walk around and spend time with nature.
Lovely large park on the edge of the city that incorporates the botanical gardens, parts of the river and lots of space. Footpaths and bike tracks make it all accessible and there appears to be car parking in the park itself. Many things to see including colourful gardens, big old trees and grassy areas. Well worth checking out.
Spring is here, can see lots of flowers blooming in the botanical garden. We are lucky enough to see daffodils it looks amazing, there is daffodil woodland which is like a fairy tails. Really enjoyed the time here. have not been to all the places in this garden though. Still need to explore more. There is a beautiful rose garden in the middle of the botanical garden but this is not the season for the roses. Able to see only in its blooming season. Always enjoy the walking in this garden and looks perfectly different every time I visit.
