Lovely atmosphere, the service was friendly. Coffee and food was good, I had the house crumpet with poached strawberries - but highlight was definitely the macaroons!

Outstanding breakfasts! And great value! So good we had to return day 2 of our trip as we had food envy of each others meals. The staff are friendly and unflappable even at very busy times.

Their lamb plate is gorgeous - one of, if not my fave, meal in New Plymouth. And my husband agrees! So beautifully cooked and delicious, each element is delicious on it's own but works perfectly together - the tender tasty lamb, greek salad, tzatiki, hummus on beautiful flatbread. Quality ingredients made with love and care and it shows. As I said to the lady there, please never take this dish off the menu - it's soooooo good. Thanks so much guys.

The coffee really wasn't very nice - bitter and burnt tasting. Scrambled eggs looked beautiful but were oily. Lovely friendly staff though!

Emmalou Macaron & Coffee House never disappoints. Fresh and in-season produce are beautifully prepared in both the innovative menu or in their daily cabinet options. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options are all catered for, with so many choices to choose from! The salads are vibrant, healthy and make a perfect lunch on the go! I personally love their banana loaf DF, GF and their vegan crumpets! If you are looking for your local coffee shop, then this is the place to come... the coffee is always spot on! Thank you Matt and Zoe... your team work tirelessly to create an amazing vibe, and your regulars love you!

I am a super fan of their handmade macaron, smooth texture, fresh ingredients. Reasonable price. Love the choice I can order them online and pick up when I want. Merci.

We visited this place and it has a neat environment, lovely decor. The staff are nice and friendly. The prices are good, the food is interesting to see and delicious. The location is convenient and the seating is varied, providing window seats and also outdoor seats.

Not amazing, but pretty nice. We got salads, sausage rolls and a toastie, along with some macarons. Recommended.

Cozy Cafe that is a couple of blocks from the ocean. Had yhePastrami Toasted Bagel and it was very tasty.
