Bach On Breakwater

North Taranaki Cycling Advocates had a great visit to Bach on Breakwater as part of our Bring on Summer yellow-themed bike ride yesterday. Coffees and food came out fast even though we were a large group. The perfect stop when bike-riding on the Coastal Walkway.Food: 5/5

Delicious! Very busy when we called in for lunch but there was extremely good service and lunch was served in no time at all. Can definitely recommend the seafood chowder which was devine... creamy and cheesy with lots of bite sized filling. Got a couple of delicious looking slices to go for afternoon tea. Highly recommend and will be back when we return to the area. Parking: Loads of parking for bigger vehicles... just remember to pay the $1/hour. We had a motorhome and trailer so was perfect.

Excellent location right on the coastal walkway in New Plymouth near the harbour, good reasonably priced menu for both breakfast & lunch. The food was well cooked and tasty well worth a visit.Food: 5/5

This is one of our favorite spots to eat at. The food has always been nice, well presented and cooked to perfection. The staff are really friendly, and the place is always nice and clean. Thanks for the great customer experience. 5 stars from us.

This is one of my favorite Cafe's in New Plymouth. Location is great especially when you see the waves coming over the mole. Nice atmosphere and good quality food.

I appreciate all the gluten free offerings on the menu but honestly, at $3 extra on top of the normal prices, my gf pancakes were really dry, crumbly and awful. My daughter had Eggs Benny and the gluten free ‘bread’ was so unpleasant, more like cake and just crumbled. There is definitely room for improvement.

it was my birthday and my husband brought me here. i had the seafood chowder, which was absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chef. my husband had the breakfast menu. That was alot of food on his plate. Thank you so much.Food: 5/5

Loved it- yummy french toast! Staff took a little while to see to us when we were seated- they were'nt overly busy. That's my only sight grumble. BEAUTIFUL view, friendly staff.
