Definitely a family go too nearly every second day of the week. Familiar with the staff and also where everything is kept. However, be sure to either get it before the afternoon 3-5ish rush hour because not all counters for items over 12 operate daily.
Worst countdown ever! Friday night around 9pm - manager lady was extremely rude. Very bad customer service. I'm 43 years old and my wife 33 years old. Manager humiliated us as my wife for no ID. It's is ridiculous when I showed my ID that she refused to give beer just cz my wife who's 33 years old got no ID. Wonder if she's blind that she saw my wife as a little kid. Just ruined our night
Shelves are almost NEVER fully stocked, workers just standing around talking to each other at self checkout and the security guard outside doing trolley runs.. whoever is running this store is probably the reason it's not making budget - the amount of lost sales from not fully stocked shelves must be a worry for the higher ups, won't be coming back here and will be passing this onto others..
Doesn't have everything you need & since Covid the choices have upsized to bulk options & the variety of products are lacking. Better options online. Staff are friendly but some checkout operators won't pack your groceries. They must have come from PnS?! I always thought it was part of the service but maybe that's a bygone thing now too? As new staff come in, the store has lost it's edge, for friendly local service for me. Time to rethink my supermarket.
You really have to check price you pay at counter as it often does not match the price tag… and also double scanning items. has happened multiple times in this particular store.
Little countdown. Suffers as far as selection goes as a result. I think foodstuffs supermarkets have better quality produce. That being said, staff are friendly and they do have everything you'd normally need from a supermarket.
Its ok meat is overpriced as it always is at countdowns, still good if need to get something quick in & out.
This Supermarket is THE PITS!!! Freezer almost ALWAYS half full, lack of variety and what I say about Bakery Department? ZERO. Shelves ALWAYS empty as well No muffins no cakes No Scones.I will be going to GREENLANE from now on.Manager get your Act together hire decent Bakers. Should be ashamed of yourself.
Love this Countdown! Usually has e every thing in stock and lots of marked down specials. Staff are very friendly!
Staff need to learn product locations. A guy Told me today they don't sell dryer sheets, but they sure do . I asked for dryer sheets and he showed me damp rid lol
