New World Remuera

This is such a posh New World, I love it. The gentleman who works the wine section is so nice and it's a total high class experience even if you're buying El cheapo. I like how the champagne is chilled and ready to go for that emergency celebration.

I really love this New World as I can see it supports community and cares community! And great selection of healthy food. BUT! I felt like I was tricked... right after I changed my feedback, it came back! Cheapest price and in the centre of mineral water, they sell this NON-SPRING water with FLUORIDE in it. I was so so disappointed! As photos below

Popular supermarket with everything you'll need. Friendly staff, good Deli and Butchery.

Very handy location with plenty of parking space however very expensive place to shop in compare to other supermarkets around.

Their staff are so lovely and real. Great Specials and Quality keeps me heading in there almost daily. Thank You for looking after me team.

I bought A 2.5 kg bag spuds, upacked at home, all were Green and Sprouting. I repack them into paper bags. Immediately took back to New World, got A refund and bought A different variety of non sprouting Spuds, 3kg bag. I paid the difference as much more expensive. The Lady Of Asian origin, Checkout Manager NOT apologetic at all, No smile. I am Asian myself. If it were not for people like me who shop at this Store, She would not have A Job! She thinks that I am doing her A favour by shopping at New World, Remuera. Bear in mind Fresh Choice New World's Competitor, has just Opened in nearby Epsom. Think on New world Remuera. Another Choice and Competition for New World. Their Customer Service is way better than New World Remuera. I often See Chris, The Owner/Operator working Long hours on the Shop Floor. Always with A Smile.

One of my favorite spots of groceries.

Sadly as this is a repeat problem with staff lack of care, I have no other choice but post. I went shopping today with only one hand, the other being bandaged in a fairly prominent way. I found myself having to pack my own purchase with staff around looking the other way. The one star is for the cashier who left his seat and helped me to finish packing. So if you are impaired in any way and need help from staff maybe be prepared to ask or go somewhere else where support is forthcoming.

Supermarket is clean and good atmosphere, I always love to buy here whenever I need something and do self-service checkout . I JUST TRIED to checkout with the teller,but the teller who serves me today is not really helpful at all, when I asked regarding newworld card and she doesn't seem interested and doesn't entertain my queries. Neda B is her name written in my receipt. One start for customer service. But 5 stars for the overall store. I hope more parking space too. Thank you.

This store is pretty small and cramped compared to other New World locations. It has significantly less selection of food and beverage items, and seemed to have limited choices in fresh fruits and vegetables. The prices at the New World stores seem significantly higher on most items compared to other stores in the area, and they carry mostly name brand products, giving you less choice in terms of price on many items. If you prefer to shop at New World, I would definitely shop at one of their larger stores that would be a few minutes more to drive to. If you prefer lower prices, then choose a different store.
