CityFitness Burnside

It is very spacious and not too busy. You can breath well, it doesn't smell like sweat. And the machines are all in great conditions and very easy to use. The only downside I would have is that there isn't enough natural light. The windows have this paper over it that kind of blocks most of the light coming in. But compared to other gyms this is definitely one of the top gyms.

I go to burnside and hereford street city fitness and both places are awesome. I don't know what it's like during peak hours as I go anywhere between 12-5am but the place is clean, great atmosphere and well maintained. I look forward going everyday

Trainer Mike*, I was there today by now a bit ago probably and I asked this guy a simple question about chinups, this guy trainer named Mike bald big guy, gave me the dirtiest look and made me feel stupid. I swear he's only nice to you if your paying him, overall making just his presence near me make me feel slightly off as how I was treated. Keep that in mind when u hire him. Ok other than that the gym is ok, and a cool dude named Jacob helped me out amazingly, guy is awesome

Dirty, you don’t want this blowing at you but good parking, big windows high ceilings, more open feel compared to moorehouse. Good amount of treadmills

Enjoyed the workouts here during my short visit to NZ, the equipment range is decent however I can tell it gets too busy for there to be enough variety. A lot of repeated machines that are stacked quite close to eachother however I never waited too long.nThe price of casual though on the expensive end $20 each time, I visited 4 times.nOther than that, bathrooms are clean and staff are friendly. Recommend for your workouts if you’re staying nearby as a traveller, not sure what the memberships are like although keep in mind. This place can get pretty busy!
